Well It's Official the world has gone to hell..."The Science Channel" is now...

That sucks! I only have basic cable b/c I am a cheap bastard. But I have seen a couple of programs on that channel and thought it looked legit. I figure they move all the good stuff to premium to force people to pay more $. I guess the dumbing down is now more important than the almighty dollar.

Back when I first went to college there was a university sponsored tv station that aired surgeries. The brain surgeries were cool to watch, but knee surgeries were worse than an intense horror movie.

Anyways...

Not enough people actually care for education, all they desire is entertainment. Speculations of anal probing is more entertaining than hard facts. Money talks.

Like the history channel. It was all history at first, then became all Nazi's, then mostly alien related BS, and now it's on to reality programming. Reality programming is the largest bang for the buck, so you get Pawn Stars, Swamp People, and American Butt Pickers....
