So my question is: after someone is arrested and released (ROR) how long does the state have to arraign them?
It's been 4 months since the arrest and no arraignment.. Just received a letter( not a summons) saying we have to attend a disposition meeting that's "voluntary" but if we don't attend the matter could be referred to a judge. The court "may" summons before a judge if we don't attend.

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6383062 Only mentions after the "initial" appearance. Rule 48 says six months to "commencement of trial". Is that the actual trial or beginning of proceedings (including arraignment). Procedure after arrest states 6 days for "arraignment" but only if felony". Very confusing! |
