Anonymous Coward User ID: 33009581 United States 03/10/2014 05:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So, my cell phone battery is dead. I have Verizon and it still rings in the phone I am dialing with but my cell phone Quoting: KimmieAnnaJones does not. Just sayin.... That seems strange to me, here most mobile phone if not all go striaght to voice mail if they are off or broken. The right question to ask is this then: When the relatives call the cell phones are they going to voicemail? If not, why not? Are you telling me over 200 people don't have voicemail set up on their phones? Also, the obvious: Can black boxes be tampered with or disabled? I think black boxes can be turned off. |

They aren't meant to be turned off. Their main purpose is to record and send a signal NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 54553672 Canada 03/10/2014 05:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54553672 Yes , i dosent ring you fuck , it happend to me many times , best way is to send a sms while having set on your phone delivey Yep , basically the caller will hear is ringing but on the other end is not ringing! ... But this is not the norm. Stop pressing your agenda man; whether it's just to be a pessimistic dick or to make people think there's no shot this is legit. No one here has an agenda. It's a conspiracy site. We have the right to ask questions. Go away troll. You don't see someone saying unequivocally that there is no chance the cell phones are ringing as having an agenda? And that's a pretty ignorant thing to say that no one on conspiracy sites has agendas... when the it was leaked months ago that the NSA pays people to sanitize conspiracy sites. Dumbass. Yes , it doesn't ring you fuck , it happened to me many times , best way is to send a sms while having set on your phone delivery reports . If deliver then 100% the phone is on .! |

Stolen Plane! [link to www.jewsnews.co.il] Such a case would only mean that the plane crashed on land and not water. And be very near a populated area...with towers. Within the surreal depths of "reality" lies the truth. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 53879644 United States 03/10/2014 06:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Generally speaking- Quoting: Anonymous Coward 53879644 If a phone is turned off, the battery dies, or if the signal is intentionally blocked it will go directly to vm when called. If a phone is "out of service area" you may get a recording telling you this, it may go directly to vm, or it may ring a few times and then go to voicemail when called - it almost never rings as many times as it normally would. All of this varies, based on provider. If a phone is turned on and in service area, it will ring however many rings it is programmed to ring and then go to voicemail when called. Occasionally, when there is some "unknown" signal interference, a phone will just ring to no end, never going to voicemail with no indication by the phone that a call was ever made to it, or that they were having signal interference. Yep , basically the caller will hear is ringing but on the other end is not ringing! ... But this is not the norm. Stop pressing your agenda man; whether it's just to be a pessimistic dick or to make people think there's no shot this is legit. No, this isn't the norm. If the phone is destroyed, it most likely will not ring - it will go directly to voicemail until the carrier disables it - they usually wait a minimum of 90 days before re-issuing the phone #. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54565702 There's huts to build and food to find. Most importantly, they're taking turns resetting the numbers on the underground doomsday machine that keeps their invisible island from blowing up. And avoiding the Polar Bear... Is that a LOST reference, pray tell? Not everybody here watched it, thank you very much......... Just asking. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 53879644 United States 03/10/2014 06:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It would probably INCREASE the chances of it ringing. (False ring) I hardly use my cell phone and I know all this. Wtf with peoples posts on this thread. RINGING MEANS NOTHING Turn of your cellphone/take the battery out and then try to call it from another phone. Then you will know. "False" ringing is exactly that. "False" The phone is not ringing. It is probably being monitored. If it is not going to voicemail, it is not actually connecting to that account on any level, other than if someone has intercepted the signal. |

Quoting: Deb1964 This!!! I was watching an episode of Forensic Files last week and the police did the very same thing and got permission with the cell phone provider and they captured the suspect within minutes. That's why this plane story is such b.s. |
