Breaking! Cell Phones from passengers on Malaysia Airlines ringing......!!

So, my cell phone battery is dead. I have Verizon and it still rings in the phone I am dialing with but my cell phone

does not. Just sayin....

That seems strange to me, here most mobile phone if not all go striaght to voice mail if they are off or broken.

... But this is not the norm. Stop pressing your agenda man; whether it's just to be a pessimistic dick or to make people think there's no shot this is legit.

Generally speaking-

If a phone is turned off, the battery dies, or if the signal is intentionally blocked it will go directly to vm when called.

If a phone is "out of service area" you may get a recording telling you this, it may go directly to vm, or it may ring a few times and then go to voicemail when called - it almost never rings as many times as it normally would. All of this varies, based on provider.

If a phone is turned on and in service area, it will ring however many rings it is programmed to ring and then go to voicemail when called.

Occasionally, when there is some "unknown" signal interference, a phone will just ring to no end, never going to voicemail with no indication by the phone that a call was ever made to it, or that they were having signal interference.
