I wouldn't worry about gmail. Its very often used for non official communication, since others can't really track it. Look at a header from a gmail (not sent by mail program) and you know what I mean.

Shortly after this thread was pinned it was mysteriously un-pinned....it only stayed pinned for about 30 minutes...along with youtube going down at the same time and errors not allowing comments. Weird stuff!!

I actually hand wrote some letters (3 different ones) and had my bro burn the video, my housemate drove my little 'package' to 3 local news stations here in Tampa (they are in Clearwater though) this morning around 6AM...

What's to prevent someone from creating the accounts and emailing back and forth between them to make a story like this?

If the account was compromised already who's not to say the hackers themselves didn't generate this conversation?

How / why did the hacker happen to break into what is by all appearances a generic random gmail account? It's not like they had access to an officially listed government address.
