Ok guys, so what's the theory here, what are most of you really thinking about what has happened to this plane? Please enlighten me.

This is getting weird. That plane could be anywhere and poses a threat. There is no closure for the family. We are in the 21st century with all this advanced tech and we can't find it.

Well said. Plus, we avoid the need to be so inundated with news about European/Eurasian problems.

I'm thinking:

A) There was something extremely valuable on board and the plane was hijacked for this reason,

or
B) I read an article mentioning how a crew of 20 top engineers/programmers from some cutting edge microchip company was on the plane. [link to online.wsj.com]

Hmmm, possible. I know a family who is friends of Mr. Wood who worked with IBM. They are just besides themselves right now. I just cannot imagine the terrible pain and agony these family members are going through.
