God displays situational ethics.

In one chapter it's okay to fuck your daughters, in another to sell woman into slavery, and still another to kill people for wearing two different types of fabric.

800 pages later there's a whole new set of guidelines condemning most of the stuff they did to get to where they are as a religion. Namely, the aforementioned fucking, slavery and murder.

Was once a wholehearted religotard. They lost me with the hypocrisy.

What has Christ saved you from, and how did He do it?

That is, what is there about dying sinless flesh and shed unadulterared human blood from Jesus that would affect anyone's sin before YHWH?

God created man from dust.

Then God created woman for man to be his companion.

God didn't create man to be mans' companion. This is why homosexuality can never be considered as sanctioned by God.

God created woman for man to have sex with. Not other men.

Basically, no matter how good I want to be, I completely fall short of perfection. Without God's forgiving grace, I am truly imperfect and unholy. There is nothing I can do in and of myself to ever correct a wrong I did or to prevent myself from never doing a wrong or unkind or selfish act in the future -- I can try to live a good life but I will never succeed as I am an imperfect creature-- only through grace can I be made whole and worthy.
