What do you think happens to people who commit suicide?

Generally hell based on what I read from NDEs. It is impossible to repent from murder of yourself because you die and have no time to repent. This doesn't mean God wouldn't forgive a mentally ill person and judge accordingly, but its generally hell from all that I read. Only God can know for sure though.

A sizeable chunk of humanity will die by the end of 2015 anyways. Check out the blood moons, strange weather, probably WW3. Sit tight. The end will be coming for many people although many will wish the end had come later because they were not right with the Lord.

The same thing that happens to everyone else, of course. They will try to convince you that all sorts of bad things happen, but that's just because they don't want people to just kill themselves to try to reach the other side, without having attained the proper state of mind and spiritual advancement.

They go home.

I do believe they are just like us and all reincarnation possibilities are on the table. One year, one hundred years, one million years, don't know but I believe this.

No matter how miserable you are, you will not see heaven through suicide. There was video i saw of a woman who ate a bottle of pills, and ended up in this nothingless, dark, limitless void with other souls walking around muttering to themselves about the pain and anguish in their life. Then God asked the woman if this is what she wanted, and she responded no, and was brought back. That seems to be the consistent description of people who commit suicide, and here there souls go, from the very few i have read and seen in peoples interviews on video. God does not want us ruining and destroying our own bodies for whatever reason. It is an afterlife of depression and constant inner turmoil.

You cannot "try" a religion. Like there is no "trying" God, who is not a religion, like some disposable option. you must truly believe, and tell him everything you feel, everything you have done, everything you have thought. Be truthful. Pour everything out to him. Recognize that Jesus is your savior and only through him, will you gain a sure heart of happiness and freedom. I myself am still working on my faith and discipline, but God has shown me things, and has helped out with things since i started believing. This is coming from a guy who thought it all a fairy tale. Oh yeah, then aliens.

Get to the source of why you are feeling this way. Meditate on it. Their must be reason. Once you find the source, you can start from there. You must find a way to sanitize your environment in order to relive yourself of this. Find out what the pollutant in your environment. Monotony, relationships, responsibilities, future possibilities, failings, obligations, area you live in... think. You cant go on feeling like this.

I think some one that commits suicide is not able to cope with life here in this world.

They are not hell bait or bound they are with out coping skills or strenght of will.
This can happen to any person if they are in prolonged situations that are overwhelming.

Or sudden shocking to them situations their minds just can not adapt or cope with life following it/the tragic event.

Some are senile or mentally ill/incompetent mentally organically/chemically.

It makes no difference we all have our bodies perish by the same results death brings us all the same end.

Recognizing the fact being realistic will allow you to cultivate coping skills.

Telling some one things are not as bad as they seem or just cheer up and snap out of it.
Telling them that they can escape it through brain washing it out of their minds or washing their minds out of their head and into a new dimension/reality realm.

Is not coping with anything in reality.
So it is not going to give any one what they need to handle their life situations, that are real and do not just disappear by wishing or wanting them away.

Telling people to avoid stress or stressers will not help them.
Humans can not run from all things their entire lives that are stressful.

Humans have to understand they experience stress and stress stresses them because they are humans.

Don't run from it don't fight it don't deny it.
Just know it for what it is and does to you and that it is unavoidable in a human's life span.

Learn self control in your reactions to it/the thing that stresses you.
Modify your reactions to settle it head on and case by case.

The cases are so many and diverse it would have to be case by case, but you gain the insight of what works and worked the best and what could or could not be applied or utilized.
You get toned the entire way as you go on through your lifes way.

Feel depressed leave foods alone that make it worse chocolates and sweets, alcohols and drugs.
Work on your level of activity and interactions.
Plan apply your self to planning any thing simple or more complex.

Use your imaginations and thought processes on something productive in the abstract forms.

B12 sublingual helps and a multivitamin as well as Cod liver oil. Those three help as well as sunlight does and dark night rooms to sleep on.

Work up a laugh as well as a sweat any way you can it helps.

We all are subjected to the same sensory systems and the same effects.
We just may not show it the same or react in the same depths or ways as others.

The Vedic Literature says that the person who commits suicide becomes a ghost. Having rejected the gross form of body on account of too much pain in this material realm the spirit soul has to exist with only a subtle body until the punishment of not caring for the gift of the human form is realized. Then the soul is carried into another gross body according to their karma which has built up over uncountable lifetimes.

We have only ourself to answer for. :-)

Yeah, I think I remember watching that NDE on YouTube as well. I probably watched all of those NDEs from the 700 Club to be honest...and by tried religion...I kinda meant that I was losing my faith as the years have passed by (Sub conscious poke at God? Sorry, guess there's a little frustration there). Idk, I'm just not to sure how much longer I can hold strong anymore, it's not truly to "that" point yet but it really sucks being depressed. You don't feel motivated to do anything, even eating sometimes but you're right. I just have to reevaluate things and keep my faith that Jesus will see me through these rough times. Thanks man.

You would be voiding out the God fragment that you are. Read Phoenix Journals from the 1980's 1990's, you have nothing to loose if your already thinking about suicide.

If Truth can't get your mind off suicide as a last resort to find out who you really are,.... do not listen to anyone but yourself...

Scientists and/or atheists will tell you that NDE's are nothing more than dreams caused by some kind of chemical reaction in the brain. People whom experience these NDE's claim that their experience was more real than this current reality we all live in. Well if the NDE is a dream then what does that make the reality that we live in? Could we not also label it a dream? Without the scientific community being able to determine where consciencness comes from how can they even define what is a "dream" and what is "reality " My point is, the "spirt" "soul" "consciencness" etc are separate from the body and the material world. Just because you can't see something with your eyes doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I believe that when you die there is no time per se so you may or may not go strait to heaven or hell. Only the good Lord hisself knows for sure what will become of you.
I've never seen a "ghost" or what have you with my own eyes but I know too may credible people that have to dismiss the notion. My wife's family bought a house when she was very young and the house was vacant when they bought it. They would see a white "mass" not really the shape of a human body but some kind of white transparent floating mass that would show up occasionally and would often times "sit" at the foot of the bed. It never threatened anyone and as a matter of fact they felt at peace when it appeared. Some time later they learned that the entire family that lived in the house before them had died in a car accident. My wife, her brother, sister and parents all saw it. Another quick example: a buddy of mine is a case manager at a large hospital here in town. Basically he has to file a report on anyone who dies in their care and liability issues etc. Anyway, a nun used to come out to the hospital daily and pray with people whom were dying. The nun passed away a few years ago but she still visits the patients. Often the patients will ask about sister so and so (can't remember her name), saying she had come to pray with them. Like clockwork, within about 24hrs of encountering the nun they will pass on. The staff on that floor is so accustomed to patients asking the nun that they play along as if she had visited them in the flesh.
Stories like this from people I know for a fact aren't making them up are what led me to explore spirituality and seek God. Since finding him my life has improved tremendously. When I was younger I contemplated suicide as well but now I'm sure glad I didn't follow through....

You know what OP? You're playing the most awesome video game of all time. The human eye is a 576 megapixel camera. Photos don't come anywhere near that. But here's a hint, don't get drunk. Alcohol is a depressant, you'll only feel more depressed and be unable to think of a solution to your problems. i am not advocating suicide at all, so please don't take what i write that way.....i have had an extended family member commit suicide and it has impacted our family in an adverse way ever since he took his own life. don't do this to people you have even a smidgeon of like / love for .... also, think about what they feel for you. no parents should outlive their children.....i've seen it and it's a horrible thing for parents to go through.

there are examples of suicide in the bible. you can say that hannah's 7 sons chose suicide, but really they chose G-d.....and after hannah's 7 sons were dead she threw herself off a roof to her death. again ... horrible for parents to see their child die by any means. ok, so from my recollection there is no admonishment against her actions. not at all.

.... the hebrews / jews had barricaded themselves in with weapons and food and water....the romans were waiting them out though bc they knew they were boxed in and couldn't get more supplies. when the food and water ran out and the hebrews / jews knew they could now longer keep the romans at bay they committed suicide so the women would not be raped and made slaves and so the others would also not be made slaves. the link explains this all better than i did....just click and read. :) if you want.

i think this is a grey area bc the commandment is against murder, not killing. how does killing BENEFIT someone? no insurance money, no malice by getting ahead or getting someone's spouse more easily (king david is guilty of this - sadly).

BUT SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER.....YOU ARE NOT TERMINALLY ILL......THINGS WILL GET BETTER FOR YOU IF YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON. i've travelled some rough roads myself and lots of people will say that suicide has crossed their minds at one point or another, but actually doing it??!??!?! NO. DO NOT EVEN GO THERE. LET THAT FLEETING THOUGHT GO FREE FROM YOUR MIND.

I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; One belonged to me, and the other to the Lord. Many are locked in this dilemma. You might think its money, but it isnt. Everyone has some kind of problem.

I agree, killing yourself over something stupid is pretty stupid. Cheer up OP life's great when you're free. Think about all the people in India dreaming of going to America to become taxi drivers! One day if they save their money and have good credit they can have a fleet of taxis! Having someone work for you and make you money is great, most people that can't get ahead drink themselves into oblivion.

They're only free to starve, financial freedom comes from being your own boss. There's an ad on this website for making money online, you should give it a whirl.

They starve, get cold yet they are free. Its a bold choice. They don't commit suicide.
