I concur good sir/madame. I think over time if this argument happens enough and is able to continue to fix itself each time, my hopes are one day it won't have to happen again.

I think it comes down to something pretty simple. Marriage, family, is about doing your part to help up the family as a whole. He's being a turd and a selfish turd at that.
Tell him to shape up or get out. Unless he's sick or physically unable there is no excuse.
If it'll make you feel better, drag his butt to a counselor to get his to see the error of his ways.
More than likely, once he sees his meal ticket is about to kick him out, he'll start doing his part.

I always root for the family but I doubt this one will change. He will be a weight around your neck for life.

I speak from experience. I have several friends who married guys like this. Not a single marriage worked out because it's just too draining, physically, emotionally, and financially.

The test is over... We made it for another level / another chapter. Thank you God, we made it. All back to great and thank you guys for being "family". With my friends here, I have the truth.
