Please visit the NATO website here: [link to www.nato.int] It is very clear they are referring to NATO ALLIES That whole page refers to ALLY as a MEMBER OF THE ALLIANCE. ALLY/ALLIANCE ALLY/ALLIANCE ALLY/ALLIANCE. The two words go together. You be an idjit. I'm not going to educate you in NATO Constitutional Law, so I suggest you read the Constitution for yourself and look up what is meant by the term "parties." Once you figure this out for yourself you will realize that the term "parties" is extremely vague. It can basically mean any country or organization that is an "ally" of NATO. You are correct on your first sentence. The rest is pretty much BS. Article 5 applies to members of the alliance. Ukraine cannot cry Article 5 and have it mean anything. The Baltics can. |
