The still frame does look odd and you are right on no shadows cast by the pole at the same angle of the shadows on the buffalo which begs...

Why the hell would someone even make a CGI like this to create a Hoax? Makes no sense.

And furthermore it's excellent CGI thus a production studio had to have made it, not some closet Maya animator as that would take a tonne of time to rig, animate and render.

If you got those skills to pay the bills do something far more entertaining and make bank rather than create some panic video.

That or we are so out of touch with reality thanks to CGI that we've become cgitards.

Perhaps you need to get out more. You can look up a million other videos of the same from years ago. If someone were going to CGI it, seems they could have at least added some fleeing moose, birds, couple bears. Maybe some flowing lava.

My first thought as well, looks too clear and sometimes it looks like the feet were not touching the pavement correctly.

meh! was at yellowstone 5-6 years ago, there were always bison in the road, sometimes running, sometimes, walking, sometimes just standing a blocking F#$^T$%%$$ traffic. They are as lazy as humans, taking the easiest route to get from point A to point B. One even came into the campground we were in, everyone was just watching it until the ranger came and told everyone they need to stand behind something in case of a charge, these things are dangerous. Now if you saw mountain goats, raccoons, rabbits, elk, and a few bears mixed into that herd, then I might be concerned.

Here's the link to a live video feed of YS. Right now, there are 8-10 bison (buffalo) in the video just grazing. Doesn't seem to be a threat today.

The buffalo have a shadow...lol....of course they do.

I suppose the elephants running for their lives just before the Sumatra Tsunami had a shadow too. So that tsunami was just nothing at all.

This is pretty scary.

I have been watching Yellowstone forever.

I always said that the REAL indication of something big would be bizarre animal behavior.

If this trend continues, especially with birds and small mammals getting out of there, you know something is coming.

Unfortunately, with Yellowstone I really don't know what kind of prep or precaution or evacuation would be of any kind of real help.

With something like this, you almost WANT to be in the first die-off zone, because the aftermath will be so fucking hellacious.

I was watching this documentary about the Krakatoa explosion and they were talking about how the sound was so intense that people within a certain distance of the blast had their eardrums blown out.

Can you imagine the sound that would be released if Yellowstone blew catastrophically??

I mean, we have no real idea how these super-volcanoes erupt. They might go for years or decades with higher than normal emissions and other activity before they really blow - we just don't know.

Interesting times, for sure.

I mean, there's nothing that can be done to prevent it, we might as well enjoy the learning experience.

I, for one, would like to be the crazy dude from 2012 with the front-row seat for the fireworks, but that's just me.

What have we become. Why on Gods green earth would anyone make a CGI video of this.

Have people become so jaded, that everything they haven't seen with their own eyes or touched with their own hands must be fake regardless of the subject.
