Have compassion and let her die in peace instead of torturing her with chemo so you geta few extra days or weeks with her , the chemo will probably kille her anyway .

If you love your mom you will make sure she is comfortable and no more , she is very very old and it is just her time .

On a personal note if she has not had a relationship with Jesus , you should get someone there to do this and ET her to accept our God and savior , you may say bull to this bit I have been there and back and I can tell you from first hand experience Jesus is real and she will meet him when she throws off her old clay pot .

My mum has been terminally ill for 2+ years now and she is still fighting.

I stopped listening to the doctors when they said she would not make it to Christmas two years ago.

Instead I just visualize here being well. I also visualized myself healing her with just my mind.

I know what that sounds like, but hey in a Quantum consciousness anything is possible. And it doesn't hurt trying and gives you something positive to focus on in hard times.

God bless you and your mother. I hope she will live to 200 years old and brake all the records.

But I must say, either way the results will be, I hope you will understand that if God calls upon us it is our time, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't fight for our life. I hope if things turn for worst you will have strength and courage to face the difficulties, God always helps us in tough times. I think her health won't allow chemo or other tough therapies, but you shouldn't give up on natural treatments. There is a good thread on GLP about cancer treatments, you should look it up. There are so many natural treatments for cancer, I hope you will find the most suiting for your mother.

Sorry to hear this crummy news. You can only ride the roller coaster at this point. I strongly recommend you research this disease as much as possible so you can make good decisions. Knowledge will give you strength.

You should also ALWAYS get a second opinion, preferably from someone who is a specialist.

Talk to the doctor with your mother not present and express your concerns about the devastation of chemotherapy. Most oncologists report that if they had cancer they would NOT do chemotherapy - I don't know how they think it is okay to do it on other people.

Ask if there are other ways to handle this at her advanced age. Let him know that she probably will listen to him only, so you would appreciate him taking the family's wishes into consideration as he makes his recommendations to her.

Love is your only antidote to the confusion and emotional chaos you are going through right now. Stay in a state of love and gratitude as much as possible, it is a life raft on the sea of suffering.

Ensure she gets tons of FRESH air, an appropriate amount of SUNLIGHT, all ORGANIC food, turmeric, spring water, good vibes.

Remove all synthetic products and use only Dr Bronner's soap for all cleaning purposes. Get a water filter.
