I wouldn't recommend the chemo either. Be careful if someone besides her is given power to make medical decisions. Don't ever sign a DNR. That basically, gives them the right to withhold all medical treatment and starve and dehydrate them to death while giving them massive amounts of pain meds. They usually, die within three days, Pallative care as well as hospice does this to terminally ill patients. There are threads on here about hospice everyone should read. You are in my prayers. I hope whatever time she left is peaceful and she is coherent enough to enjoy her family. Hoping for the best for your mother.
