This has been working for a family friend who was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The cancer cells are ceasing to spread, and are actually dying off.

He has been able to stay off chemo, his quality of life is improving drastically.

Don't take the Chemo - I went through that with my mom and just overcame Breast Cancer myself. Anything I read on Chemo…it's Barbaric and will KILL you before the disease!

You're right Tiger, we are in a virtual Twilight Zone, contending with the futility of Satan's reign of terror. While all here have empathy for your situation no matter how long we resist no one can avoid the inevitable. Here's a couple of scriptures that may at least ease the grief some what;
"Also, there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations, not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and [its] agitation, 26 while men become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 But as these things start to occur, raise yourselves erect and lift YOUR heads up, because YOUR deliverance is getting near.” Lk21:25

Isaiah provides a wonderful preview of conditions billions of deceased will be resurrected into under Jesus' 1,000 year reign, hopefully it presents a bit of 'silver lining';
"And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat [their] fruitage. 22 They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. 23 They will not toil for nothing, nor will they bring to birth for disturbance; because they are the offspring made up of the blessed ones of Jehovah, and their descendants with them. 24 And it will actually occur that before they call out I myself shall answer; while they are yet speaking, I myself shall hear.

I will say a prayer. She needs to go home, living on machines is a modern torture, nature would have taken her long ago. My own mother was diagnosed with brain cancer last May and she wanted to go, I had to fight my own brother to get her into hospice care instead of chemo / radiation / steroids. Modern society is cruel when it comes to keeping people alive that aren't ever going to have any quality of life. It is just wrong to force people to live when their bodies just can't do it anymore.

Am praying for your mom and your whole family. I lost my mom to cancer. My heart goes out to you all.

I would say at her age quality of life means more.. If it was my mo I would try and talk her out of Chemo.

:( Sending much love OP.....my Mum passed away not five months ago from multiple myeloma. Twenty days after she started chemo, she was only 71. Only an hour ago I was told the husband of a friend also has myeloma.

I'm very sad to read this OP, I know exactly how you feel. My family are still reeling from the shock, she was only sick for two months. Myself and my family got the call when we were on Koh Phangan last year, mammoth effort I pulled as the daughter of an international airline pilot and we landed back in Melbourne exactly 24hrs after the call. Mum passed two days later and I'm eternally grateful I was able to talk to her but forever angry I did not state what I knew....my family would not have listened though and expected the doctors to cure her. :(

are there any chemo pill trials available? this very expensive but I know someone who is 70, had lung spot and they could not operate. She got a subsidy from the drug manufacturer and is now in remission.

She is home, and will stay there, if my brother and I can help it. Machines are her choice. As of now, she only has a pacemaker and oxygen. Of course, if the doctors suggest chemo, and she wants to try it, she would probably be hospitalized for the treatments.
My brother has medical power of attorney, but it ONLY goes into effect if she becomes incapable of making her own decisions. She is quite competent.

That is what we all hope for...dying in our sleep. My mother died of cancer a few months ago. She was in the hospital for 7 weeks before she finally left. It was the most difficult thing that I have ever gone through, and I have lost my Dad, my brother, and my sister...but this was the absolute worst. Dying is a very alone journey. Tell her all the things that you have maybe not been able to tell her. Let her know what a great mother she was, how much you love her, how it is ok to let go and let God take over.

I am going to throw this out there for you to look up, if you like. Rick Simpson's cannabis oil. There are so many people being cured of cancer and other illness's from taking this oil. It is NOT something that you get "high" from, and people from every age group has taken it, and been cured of cancer. There are no negative side effects, and it is natural, not a drug. I am so sorry for your loss. I have had several friends and family members die within 3-7 weeks of starting chemo. I am afraid the chemo will kill my mother almost immediately.

I believe the Rick Simpson Oil does help. I had a friend who used it, instead of conventional treatments. He lived more than twice as long as the doctors predicted he would.
I was talking with my oldest daughter earlier. She thinks that grandma needs some herbal. My mother is on oxygen, so any flame or heat source would not work. But, if you can't smoke it, bake it ! I am thinking about making her some real special brownies.

Thank-you and many hugs OP. It's hard. I believe that the chemo is what got Mum. She also had a heart condition and it just couldn't handle the onslaught. The first chemo didn't work, so they gave her a double dose of a different one. She went the next day.

My mother has a pacemaker and is on oxygen. Her heart would not be able to take it, either. :(
