UPDATE:

I talked with her, and it seems she will go the chemo route. I explained all the alternatives. She told me the nurse said that chemo was nothing, that she will lose her hair, and that was it. They sure lied to her. :( There is nothing I can do. It is her decision.

I brought up the subject of herbal brownies with my brother. He said to wait until after Thursday. He sorta thinks they would be a good idea. She needs to put weight on. He thinks the alternative treatments are worth a try.

The doctor thinks it has spread. My mother said it is in her thigh bone. They are doing multiple x-rays on Thursday, to see how far it has spread.
