Bette Midler - Blows Lid off of Hollywood/Showbiz - 80's! Possessed/alter - Technology RANT - Revealed! Gaga Template? Ebola??

Hello.

I believe some of the videos are significant for a few reasons:

most are from the 80s or earlier - you can tell how open bette was in her interviews - things are different now - complete control over celebs - so much info has been released and things seem to be happening quickly.

bette complained, but was still really grateful. she seemed to just be happy to have the work. she was free to talk to anyone and say whatever she pleased. therefore revealing quite a bit - especially in the 80s.

the other one seemed to be possessed by a demon - it was scary and her eyes instantly looked very off. she acted like it was comedy but I am not sure what was funny. this type of video is rare and from the 70s I believe. I think those are mostly about 20-25 years old or more. The entertainment industry today is completely different it seems. as far as how the celebs are handled- they seem to have a fear in their eyes...

I get what you are saying - I listened to it and it did seem somewhat 'iffy' if you want to see it as such, but there are many other things that could be seen as well - like instead of her 'group of people' that may seem sinister, maybe she just means her helpers around her that every single celeb has? Like her publicist and her agent, etc? And when she talks about her 'not getting it' it could just mean she cant believe her luck and she probably didn't understand the hype at the time - there are a lot of actresses that probably wanted the parts she was getting and she got them instead. Its not really that odd if you think about it without all the preconceived notions thrown in.

Yeah - who knows! I just know what we see today and things that seem to connect to bette's comments/ posted videos - all the way to the 80s - and that is not nearly the beginning of showbiz!!

having the the fun of being on her set a couple x and knowing
peeps that know her-
but also having woken up - from so much
I have to say the early vid is really a classic lesson in showbiz DID
not to say she's not talented
she really is
I just think this thread is very informative
this most recent yt makes me think she is firmly set in the role of programmer of younger girls.
doubt that she's aware.
when you have - or want- that much power, it corrupts your ability to see the truth.
just my opinion.

she is a great talent
but she craves what I walked away from. my eyes are wide open now.
I needed the truth more than the money or better roles and more power.

I think the lust for power is one of the hardest drugs to quit.

Have you seen the play or movie Gypsie? That was sort of a break down scene for Mama Rose, who Bette was portraying during her song. Bette normally plays different characters during her concerts, so yes, she is channeling something as all actress's do--to not be yourself so you can be someone else. Acting.

I will keep posting more - and yes her films are all over the board - note that she turned down Misery which Kathy Bates went on to win an Oscar for - she also turned town Sister Act - and seemed to regret later - BUT she accecpted the role of a WITCH in Hocus Pocus - and said it was her favorite film :/ ..........:bump:
