I'm a Nexus guy myself but the earlier poster is correct. The Hisense is a great little tablet and a steal for what the thing costs.
The Nexus 7 does have front and rear cameras though. The specs are better and the manufacturer is larger and more trustworthy.
Lastly, with the Nexus 7 you will get updates from Google directly and much sooner than any third party manufacturers.

SMH just checked my SERO, there is peanut butter jammed in the mini HDMI port, and it does have USB, but it is USB>Micro USB.
