Nice touch. Regarding adding reported cases, you could add a "pending" line below each city for rumors. If thats your jam.

Okay, now you have seen the reports that have said that dengue is a close relative of Ebola virus. Dengue is common here in Thailand, it makes it round yearly. MMS kills it within 12 hrs. No remaining symptoms. I have had it myself, have given it to others as well with the same result, all symptoms gone with in 12 hrs. It works. MMS=sodium chlorite when mixed with an acid such as citric acid produces chlorine dioxide, a water purifier. It kills viruses on contact both internally and externally.....

This is very important. Could save many lives. I know it works against malaria also.

Approximately what proportions of each if you would be so kind. And citric acid, like in Orange juice? Or a very purified kind?

Thanks!

Here is some info about chlorine dioxide. It is used in many water treatment plants and does work as a virus killer in drinking water, as well as many other uses.

Citric Acid is the best, Orange juice asorbic acid does not work. Vitamin C in any form stops MMS from working. So it should not be taken of fruit juices as most are vitamin C fortified. We are not talking about large quantities of sodium chlorite. It is usually 1 drop of 28 percent sodium chlorite (by weight) in distilled water to a drop of 50 percent citric acid (by volume) in distilled water. Average dose when sick 6 to 15 drops, twice a day. Caution, it can cause diarrhea, sweats and sometimes vomiting, these are signs that it is working. Best to start off slow. One drop morning, one drop evening and work your way up to 15 drops twice a day for 2 weeks. Then should there be an outbreak you can immediately take 15 drops with no ill feeling at all. As you have cleansed your body of toxins such a mercury, and parasites,,,etc prior to an event. Should you feel like you have gone to fast in taking MMS take some vitamin C. But go slow, as this avoids some of the discomfort connected with a deep cleanse of pathogens and heavy metals etc. that one accumulates over a life time.

MALI: 3 Suspect Cases

Under the surveillance of the epidemic of haemorrhagic fever Ebola Guinea, Mali's government informs the public that today's date no cases of haemorrhagic fever Ebola n ' was recorded in Mali. However, socio-health teams are deployed in the field have identified three suspects.

On these three suspects, biological samples were taken. The samples were sent for analysis to the laboratory reference CDC, Atlanta, USA. Pending the results of these analyzes, subjects were placed in an isolation unit where they receive appropriate care. At present, their health improves.

Things lining up nicely with the models, as I stated on 3-31:

Based upon an assumed time of first contagion in mid-February, and standard propagational methods generally employed to model west-African epidemiology, we will see a major uptick in reported cases in the period between Saturday 4/5 and Wednesday 4/10/2014. That is to say, the number of reported cases will jump from an estimated 140~150 as of April 4th, to a modeled estimate of 300-400 cases by April 10th, as those presently in incubation become symptomatic. This will make the present Ebola outbreak the largest in history.

The mortality curve with Ebola-Zaire statistically runs 7-12 days beyond presentation of symptoms, so the death count should be expected to rise commensurately between 4/14 and the end of April.

If this particular version of Ebola has achieved true aerosol-infectious capacity, the infection rate will be at least an order of magnitude higher than stated above, and we may be facing a pandemic in short order.

Here is a snippet from the promedmail Ebola update 2014-04-03

WHO is supporting the national authorities in the response to an outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD; formerly known as Ebola haemorrhagic fever). The outbreak is now confirmed to be caused by a strain of ebolavirus with very close homology (98 percent) to the Zaire ebolavirus. This is the 1st time the disease has been detected in West Africa. Cases were 1st reported from forested areas in southeastern Guinea. The outbreak has rapidly evolved, and several districts and Conakry have reported cases and deaths caused by EVD. A small number of suspected cases and deaths has also been reported from neighbouring countries with all of them having crossed from Guinea. Confirmed cases have been reported from Guinea and Liberia. (Read more at source URL).

Regarding the flight in France that they investigated.

wonder what kind of tests they did ?

Paris (AFP) - An Air France plane from the Ebola-hit west African country of Guinea was quarantined in Paris for two hours Friday after the crew suspected a passenger may have the deadly disease, the airline said.

The flight from the Guinean capital Conakry landed at Paris's Charles De Gaulle airport at 5:28 am (0328 GMT) with 187 passengers and 11 crew members on board.

Emergency services conducted checks for fever on all those travelling after a dirty toilet sparked concern that a passenger could be infected with the deadly and highly contagious disease, which apart from other symptoms triggers severe diarrhoea.

"The tests turned out negative," an Air France spokesman said

The Canadian company announced this week Tekmira significant progress in developing a vaccine against Ebola. The research is funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. The Obama administration and the pharmaceutical company signed a $ 140 million contract. The agreement triggered the share price of the company and has coincided with an unexpected outbreak of the disease in Guinea that could be caused as a hundred deaths.

Liberia was having a civil war that lasted 14-15 years. People were/are being resettled.

As for that earlier post that an Israeli billionaire is responsible, that is just dumb. It makes no sense unless this is a test run for a bigger event. But I don't buy that. These people eat bats and stuff, so no wonder they are sick.
 Quoting: Corn Dog

the thing is they always ate that but didn't get Ebola. At least not in West Africa, from my understanding. So how did the virus get there?
 Quoting: The Nihilist

If memory serves me correctly, Ebola has only been known and studied since 1976; when it appeared in both Sudan (or what was then Sudan, maybe it is now South Sudan), and Zaire -- several hundred miles from one another.

Maybe since it is carried by mammals like bats and monkeys, it gets spread around by animal vectors for a while until it enfloresces in human population.

Again, if memory serves me, the virus itself is thought to sort of reside in a few humid 'petri-dish -condition' caves somewhere in Zaire, in central Africa.

Maybe it has that quality that is hard for a layman like me to understand -- much less describe -- where certain microorganisms can spread various places, then somehow seemingly communicate (?) to erupt -- or irrupt, in the biological sense -- into a sort of "spreading" or completing-the-life-cycle phase. (Sorry that is so unclear, I have only a nebulous layman's sort of fascination with these things.) Kind of like mushrooms can keep a complex system of mycelium underground, no one sees it, then every few years, mushrooms spring up all over the place -- in different places.

In short, I don't know how such things occur... but they do occur.
 Quoting: goodmockingbird

They never have found the host/reservoir species, the fruit bat theory is just that, a theory.

Remember, this whole area is deeply tied to the biomedical world both through providing primates used in testing and providing a ready population for various "campaigns" over the years, including various vaccination programs.

Then there is the connection with Dr. Marry's Monkey, Polio vaccination, cancer virus, plot to kill Castro, Dr. Gallo's vaccine research, experimental vaccines being used in Africa, and then, same region, HIV appears, Dr. Gallo again, now we're up to Mr. Gates experimental oral live virus polio vaccine test in Africa which paralyzed 40,000+ children with "Polio-like" symptoms.

So it seems totally reasonable that a slightly less lethal (and thus less likely to burn out before spreading) version of Ebola were to appear and give an excuse for every pharmaceutical company in the world to be given the biomedical equivalent to a Duty-Free zone at the airport. They are actually being INVITED to bring every wacky experimental thing they've been wanting to do human trials on.

The only problem is that although this is a great way to make money for BigPharma, it also is a great way to accidentally really make a global pandemic.

Unintended consequences.

The antidote Ebola listed on stock exchange

The Canadian company announced this week Tekmira significant progress in developing a vaccine against Ebola. The research is funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. The Obama administration and the pharmaceutical company signed a $ 140 million contract. The agreement triggered the share price of the company and has coincided with an unexpected outbreak of the disease in Guinea that could be caused as a hundred deaths.

coincidence ?

Here are some snippets and links for a little light reading about TEKMIRA
Tekmira's Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Ian MacLachlan, presented new preclinical data showing 100% survival was achieved when dosing with TKM-Marburg at 0.5 mg/kg began 72 hours after infection with otherwise lethal quantities of the Marburg virus. Dosing then continued once daily for seven days. Earlier data from this collaborative research between Tekmira and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) showed 100% survival was achieved when dosing at 0.5 mg/kg TKM-Marburg began either one hour, 24 hours, or 48 hours after infection with otherwise lethal quantities of the virus. These studies represent the first known demonstration of protection of non-human primates from Marburg-Angola, the most lethal strain of Marburg virus. I [link to investor.tekmirapharm.com] February 2014, UTMB and Tekmira, along with other collaborators, were awarded additional funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in support of this research.
