You're just pissing your money away while making Chinese manufacturers rich. Quoting: John Donson 55801187 Please dont be a fool and waste your money on this crap! I've had 2 Nexus tablets and 2 Acer tablets. None have broken. None have failed. Enjoy your bear-skin rugs and flint tools. You said a mouthful there! You made my point for me without noticing! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 55830783 United States 03/23/2014 12:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i concur, i own a 10.1 inch galaxy tab that i got extremely cheaply, but i would have bought a nexus 7 based on price/performance and they trounce every other tablet out there. Quoting: N£rd But the Nexus 7 has no microUSB port - so how do you add your own (owned, non-cloud) movies and music to it? OTG cable some of them are splitters so you can continue to charge as well. Here's an example- [link to www.amazon.com] This one is not split but it will work with a flash drive or you can direct mount a stick drive. For some of it you will have to root and use an app called stick mount to get it to read/transfer the files. |

The New iPad Air is fantastic and I love it. They have all been solid and beautiful products and just work. Largest and best App Store, great performance, largest aftermarket accessories support, great customer support, etc.. Yes they are expensive but I haven't had a single problem with the 4 versions I've owned since it was released. If apple products are not your thing or are too expensive than do what several other people have suggested. Go to Amazon and research the other devices on the market. It's a great place to get the pulse on products from the many reviews posted. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 51595875 United States 03/23/2014 10:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | my advice, get A NookHD+ (around 150.00) And buy A N2A Card. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50722997 The card will give you A wide open Android 4.4 OS. I have a Nook HD+ and I really like it. Just google N2A. And if you're not going to go outside of the Play Store, you don't even need the N2A card anymore. NookHD+ is a fantastic bargain for a 9" tablet. And if you want smaller just get the NookHD 7" - same specs for $130. |

Vision Thing User ID: 55837975 United States 03/23/2014 10:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Uh, no they're not! IBM sold their pc division to the Chinese. That being Lenovo. Yeah, it's been awhile since Lenovo was an IBM product. That said I have a Lenovo laptop and a Lenovo compact desktop PC and have been super happy with both of them. I got them refurbished at TigerDirect. Newegg has some buying guide information that might be helpful to you, they explain what the specs are and explain what type would be good for your planned purpose of use. I tend to lean toward what a poster above said about getting an ultrabook, if I got that right, the ultra slim, ultra light laptops. I think in the long run you would get more bang for your buck and a lot more flexibility. And a real keyboard! |

You have to use Itunes to get anything on it and some media just doesn't play right. I'm not much of an app person, I just want to use it to surf websites and watch movies. What is the next best thing to a Nexus that also has a memory card slot? |
