If this is indeed a actual photo taken either on that fateful day or perhaps some earlier testing being done of the bomb the market will be limited to serious collectors of that type of stuff. I would suggest taking the photo to your local historian in the city you live in. Curator of museums or county artifacts would be a good start. |

I went to the most authoritative museum and they wanted copies... Hmmmm. Just looking for a GLP WW2 photo expert, or something of the sort. I've done a lot of groundwork on this and my biggest problem is I can't find something to compare it to as far as historical value. Thanks for the reply. THINK ABOUT THIS! The universe created life to be observed, without an observer, it never existed. So it is a mathematical proof that the universe created life. |

I lived in Vegas where both of these are located btw. THINK ABOUT THIS! The universe created life to be observed, without an observer, it never existed. Kind of why I wouldn't mind parting with it. THINK ABOUT THIS! The universe created life to be observed, without an observer, it never existed. If so, you could make all the copies you want (which would decrease the value of each print). You could put a few post-it notes on the pic & photocopy it so nobody has an actual copy of the full picture...then let people keep those copies as they try to determine the value for you. |

Amongst the collection of amazing photos their is a photo of the a bomb its an 8 by 12 and on the back is a hand written description of where the plane was in relation to the bomb. 30 k feet ele 10 miles away. I have searched every photo on google images and even went to the atomic history museum in Las Vegas no match..... Close but this pic seems to be an earlier phase of the explosion. The curator wanted copies but played dumb, I didn't give them to her. Quoting: Proskiracer I wanted to know what the value of something like this? Is it life changing value, or just a grand or two? Any info? I'm not going to sell it unless its big big money, my family would benefit. No....you didn't win the lottery. A couple grand....but most museums are built on donations....not paying for the displayed items. You are better off making some copies/prints for yourself to keep, and selling the originals to a collector if are looking for cash from the photo(s). . |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30753908 Wanted copys to show them. So you took the original in and wouldn't hand it to them so they asked for a copy to do the research with and you said no, am I understanding this correctly, or did you not bring the photo in at all just evidence it existed? |
