Buggin in, the farm has:

Chickens, Goats (in milk), Bee Hives, 1/2 acre Garden, 2 Wells on the property , Solar Power for the house, Dogs for security alarms, Barn full of feed/hay

AKs, ARs, Precision Rifles in about 10 calibers for hunting whatever walks across the property from squirrels to say, elephants… about 50,000 rounds of ammo and a reloading set up.

oh, and booze, lots and lots of booze, because in all honesty, even all these preps won't matter so I'll probably just get wasted and enjoy the show

Anyone besides me get the feeling this is data mining for which weapon of choice goes with which IP address? Who in their right mind would post online what weapons they have in their possession knowing what we do about the NSA?

There are gun discussion forums all over the web, people order gun parts (sometimes the gun itself) and amo so I don’t think TPTB will watch GLP for that.

TPTB probably are watching GLP, but for other reasons. I would not be too worried about it.

they don't need to.. We all already fill out a form everytime we buy a firearm.

They know everything we do.

Yep, all my firearms are registered so the NSA already knows I have them.

Re: Shtf
We have been discussing things more and more lately. I believe that we will be bugging in for awhile then later on move a ways away. I know most folks in our area will head out, this will make it easier for us to stay put.

We have one neighbor next door that has a big farm and he is a prepper so that helps a bit. We have another neighbor that swears she will die in her home if anything ever happens, and her husband is as disabled as she is so they wont be moving on any place.

We have everything that we could need here. I feel leaving would be worse if we do it to quickly. But most folks around here are young and have families in other states, I am sure they will be moving on. That will give us much more room for a large garden area if that happens.

Hypothetically speaking, let's say shtf tomorrow are you bugging in or bugging out? What's the first weapon you grab? Me personally bugging in is really the only option living in eastern Long Island. So with that my remington 870 would be my main go to shtf weapon of choice

How do you like the rotating barrel?
From everything I've seen it's supposed to turn the wrist snapping 9mm into a .45 esque push. Does it?

If they want to know what you have, they've got the phone records and credit/bank card data. I'd rather they know I'm armed so they think twice about screwing with me. Think about it this way, in a tyranny you will already be targeted for what you believe.

I'm NOT a handgun expert by any means, but I have put about 500 rounds through the Storm and shot several of my dad's and range friend's handguns for comparison. I don't find the PX4 .40 S&W "snappy" at all. It's a very smooth-shooting gun. I shot my friend's Glock 9MM and it was harder to control than the PX4.

From everything I've read that's what they tried to do with the PX4. The .40 is a very snappy round. Meaning it pops up when fired. My .40's all act this way.. My 9mm's are the same.

Just interested because Baretta purported their rotating barrel design changed that snap to a push. More like a .45.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback.
