It's not so much the zombies that make the show interesting. I initially thought that it would be corny but the characters are cool and the survivalist underlying story is interesting.

It made me think to myself that a zombie apocalypse would be a walk in the park compared to an EMP attack and having to battle cannibalistic survivalists and civilian snipers in order to survive in an apocalyptic world.
