chinooks flying over kansas city
Anyone on GLP from Kansas/Kansas City?
I have noticed an unusual pattern of chinooks flying over Kansas City the last week or so, sometimes twice a day. Anyone else notice or have opinions on WTF they are doing? This is not normal. I know we have AFB's close but twice a day all of the sudden out of the blue?

Also, one of my daughters has experienced a cough for the last 3 weeks? WIPP related? My other daughter and mother in law flew last week to DC, mother in law got sick after flight, she now is back and has horrible bronchitis. My daughter that flew with her has now a very tight chest and unproductive cough. I don't think its safe to fly anymore.

I watched an Apache flying south as I pulled on to 71 North at 22nd Street about 30 minutes ago.

I am. I saw a chinook a week or so ago, flying over I-70. About three months ago I saw a rather strange convoy on I-70 of unmarked, black SUV's.

It's been so long since I actually felt good, now it seems normal to feel like crap all the time. Tight chest, sneezing, cough, tummy ache, extreme fatigue, depression. Etc etc.

This has been going on for awhile, but I think they have been coming and going to the old army base just north of Belton. It's open to the public now, but when you go driving through and go looking around a humvee always drives by to check on you. I would like to go do more urban exploring in it to be honest.
There are also a lot of helicopter action at the New Century airport.

From that area, I've seen MANY military planes/copters around there over the last several years.

1- McConell is close.
2- Whiteman is close.
3- Ft. Leonard Wood is close.
4- Ft Riley is close.
5- Ft Leavenworth is close.

All of those are with in 100 miles of the city. Three with in 50 miles. The stadiums is a check point that's constantly flown over. Blue Springs is under one of the flight paths of the stealths, used to see them 3-4 times a week.

They actually rent out some of their larger craft for construction or simply moving things.

Re: chinooks flying over kansas city
I live in Yakima Washington. For the past week Chinooks have been flying very low over my neighborhood. Ever since that started people in my town have been getting bad coughs, headaches including myself. This is not normal, not everybody gets sick at the same time. I think these chinooks are poisoning our air.
