Old school building in tiny country town-need help

Live in it. If it was built in the 40's, they are amazingly well constructed. Or, you could sell it to me, and I'll live in it. :) Please don't tear it down. So few are left.

No, not tearing it down. I do live it it, but its huge and really too big to continue caring for alone. Just can't decide what to do with it.

Divide it and rent it out!

Turn it into a school. You could offer night classes in alternative themes or something.

If you are a builder, find a couple of young guys willing to work as apprentices and learn from you.

Turn part of it into a museum for old school supplies, uniforms, books, tests etc.

Is it well insured?

Its solid brick Brief..its not burning..besides, I love it..just looking for ideas..its out in nowhere, not enough population for a school, and no one works free here, lol

There has to be some kind of organization that could use the building and care for it, but theres nothing around here..I'm stumped.

Most around here get turned into apartments for the 55+ crowd. Profitable. Some do it yourselfers take a couple years and get to it. Good luck. country towns don't have the population or money for any commerce rehabs. But lots of older people lose their farms or property gets too expensive to maintain if you can't do it yourself.

Does this mean that you're looking to get rid of it, or sell it at a good price to an organization?

you could use a classroom for a museum and gift shop and have school field trips showing students the history of schooling. and then renovate upper floors and rent office space for professionals. use the gym to rent for a dance studio, karate studio, etc.

I'd give it to a good org for their use, but don't really want to sell it. Problem is..there's nothing around here for milesssss.
