I was watching a "jerusalem news" cast yesterday and it was talking about how sheldon adelson would support a presidential candidate who banned online gambling. He is the CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corp. It is his money behind this, and in return he will pour money into the next republican candidate.

Didn't they essentially ban it with the Internet gaming Act? What a waste a time. Regulate it, force the records to be kept here and tax the companies on the money made off american players. Then tax the players on their winning. Creates jobs and revenue. The banning has to do with the big casino corporations in the states not having a stake in the online business. Therefore, they are likely to be losing money to it. You or I don't matter, it's the best interest of big business that matter.

this is at the heart of it, its the land based casinos paying off the republican senators to ban it because they dont want competition.
