NO guns for ANY "Domestic Violence" Offenders - including "misdemeanors" & "verbal only" offences

Indiana has been doing this for years...Sit in one of their court rooms and watch them break their own laws.

The constitution supercedes the supreme court.plus most people are found guilty of assault.not domestic violence.its a ruse.

Unless you are convicted in federal court.of federal domestic violence law then it dont count.since a person didnt cross a state line to commit domestic violence .the feds have no juridiction.its a state matter.
You got to know what a sham that law is.its a joke wrapped in a lie.i kick my wifes ass all the time and i have lots of guns.

While a lot of domestic violence goes unreported, a lot are also false claims. Had an ex that flipped out on me one time while I was putting dishes in the washer. She grabbed a bottle of cleaning spray and started spraying it repeatedly in my face. I could not get away. I had to push her away. She trips on the edge of an area rug and falls down. Then acts shocked I reacted and hops on the phone crying to her family and friends that I was the one who got physical with her. She completely left out that I was put in a position to defend my eye sight from the cleaning chemical she was spraying in my face and she did not allow me to get away.

Needless to say, I dumped that psycho immediately. I have no doubt I would have been put in that position again or worse.

Looks as if a lot of cops won't be allowed to have firearms. What's a gung-ho woman beater to do????

The law and the Supreme Court says nothing about ONLY being convicted in a Federal Court.

This applies even to the lowest level Court that can convict for a Misdemeanor offense ... which in some states can be a "Mayor's Court" where the only possible penalty is a small fine (Mayor's Courts are where the "Judge" doesn't even have to be an attorney)

Traditionally only very low level offenses can be tried in a Mayor's Court since NO jail time can be imposed ... if it is a serious offense then it is sent to a "real" Court. Convicted of DV in a "Mayor's Court and assessed a $50 fine since it is just two people yelling at each other ... VOILA, no more gun rights!!

We have a massive problem with judges comitting crime. The worst is the fam court judges cmitting crime on children.

But it's all about the money. If they can extract a fine from a person being found guilty, then he'll be convicted. Constitutional rights be damned!

In Washington state a DV call is a weapon for girls to use when they are mad. Seriously. Judges out here never side with the guy and are hard when they get lawyers. Hardly any girls at all get in trouble out here for DV but a lot of guys. People get dvs for arguing or yelling on the phone out here. DV is major revenue for western Washington and used on people all the time.
