I see it everyday in my neighborhood :( all I can do is give them some attention and listen to them talk about their day. Sometimes I go to the book store and buy books on clearance and loan them out to the neighborhood kids.

I see them trying to be so grown up so fast...8 year old talking on their cell phone, repeating what they heard the last adult say...it just so surreal...

Considering they make tablets for toddlers now, that isn't surprising.

So glad I was able to grow up in the shift before the media age. The Y Generation actually played outside, and then came in to watch tv.

Not spend the whole damn day glued to technology, stuffing their faces with GMO foods.

:) that's what I tell the neighborhood kids...I tell them about how in the summers I went outside in the morning and didn't come home until the street lights came on, which btw, was when the Muppet Show started :)

Ahh, the good 'ole days...

Tell a kid about how we only had one phone at the house, and it was attached to a wall, and watch the face they make...they just stare at you so perplexed...

Tell them about how there was only one tv in the house and no cable, only about 6 channels AND NO REMOTE! So when your parents wanted to change the channel the kid got called in from wherever they were playing, to change the channel.

I smile now because it brings back such fond memories :)

Eight-year-olds on cell phones is like a blueberry driving.

That parents can't see that a generation of nimble-fingered children tied to chip-driven devices does not a society make, baffles me. And while I'm sure there are some parents who just want their kids to fuck-off and be out of their hair, I believe most parents think they're doing the right thing giving little Timmy and Janey the latest hypnotic soma coma gadgets.

As usual, some good thoughts by Mr. Kleck, but I kinda get turned off by people saying things like:

So what exactly is evil about the pentagram, please explain... ? I guess the golden triangle / golden section that´s in it is evil now too ? And then, after figuring out that the pentagram, which he couldn´t even draw correctly and still calls a perfect pentagram, contains something trident-like, he still gets all exited that the pentagon does contain that too...dude study some maths. Ah no....I guess that´s evil as a whole. After all...for almost every geometric form there seems to be a whole bunch of contributors in the "conspiracy theorist"-community suspecting that it´s evil. Pyramid, Cube, Pentagram, Hexagram, Star-Tetrahedron...seems the devil invented math, despite is being the language in which creation is decoded....

or

-that the Maserati commercial talks about actual giants. Read the first chapter of Pike´s "Morals and Dogma" and the whole symbology is an open book. The "Giants" they talk about are actually the peope, or rather is the "very power of the people".

After all, where Kleck only cares to say "and then the little girl goes on in her text unti she say "and then we strike"...much more meaning is conveyed. It just doesn´t make sense to go on about how they (secret societies) had to learn how to overcome/beat them by operating in the shadows (secrecy) and so on. Well, according to Hinduism, we're now in the Kali Yuga, which is the final dream that god has before he wakes up and remembers this is all a dream.

The first yuga was light and love all around, the second was more light than darkness, the third yuga was balanced light and darkness, and the final (kali yuga, which we're now nearing the end of) gets progressively more nightmarish.

This is okay, y'know? It's the way to begin again - it's how it is. Ain't a lot you can do about it, except remember who you are and hasten the waking up of god. ;)

I should add: The "waking up of god" also equals the apocalypse also equals the return of Jesus also equals Buddhahood for all.

So what can a person do to be saved by Jesus when the battle begins, how can we help in the fight against Satan?

You don't fight against this concept called "satan." You expose this concept within yourself called "satan" by accepting the world just as it is. By "saving the world," as it were, by recognizing your own Christ-consciousness within you.

Christ is not a person who will return. Only the consciousness will be made manifest in each of us. That is the apocalypse. That is the end of times. That is the last "battle," as it were. The battle within you, you as god, to wake up from the dream.

Make your whole life - your entire reason for being alive - about stripping away every layer of "you" until you're embued with Christ consciousness. Only then, you'll see that the only way that Jesus ever "died on the cross for your sins" was that he recognized the play of life as what it is - that we're all just god wearing masks pretending to be something we're not, so there's no sin, and there's really nothing to save, except for within yourself. And all that you're saving within yourself is grace and joy and gratitude for "what is," instead of what your ego thinks it should be.
