This is even scarier than them reconstructing images from your brain...

MRI Lie Detector -- they prefer you DON'T speak when they interrogate you.

The No Lie MRI™ software has the following characteristics:

•Patent Pending
•Fully automated
•Observer independent (objective)
•Reproducible
•Insensitive to countermeasures by suspects
•Noninvasive
•Differential activation during the telling of a lie

Anyone who is familiar with computers at all -- and especially those who write software, should know to be VERY WARY of any completely 'automated' determination... because automated does not infer JUSTIFICATION. Parameters can be set up however a programmer wishes them to be. Simple enough to rig the software in advance to accept a particular order of operations, and if that order is deviated from, some other output could be triggered instead of an unbiased output. Such as a 'guilty' verdict. So Easy.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Ok fine.

They need to use these on the bankers, politicians, lawyers, judges and world leaders FIRST.

No one should be in a leadership position without having to do this test monthly.

Re: MRI Lie Detector - coming to the thought-police station near you.
Suppose some people on the jury are unfamiliar with medical diagnosis of "NoLieMRI" pictures from the accused's brain by a certified physician, they won't be able to distinguish what red or blue really mean on the accused's brain. But they can be directed by a prosecutor to determine that blue mean truth and red mean lying.

You can direct a monkey to say that is red on a picture of someone's brain and the prosecutor would declare to the court that it is the irreversible proof that someone is lying!

Except that a monkey doesn't understand what the colors mean on the areas of the brain and a physician could say, under pressure or by money under the table, that red on certain areas mean lying without clearly explain how he came to that conclusion.

So view "MRI Lie Detector" with guarded skepticism or suspicion.

It would seem to be a violation of a person's fifth amendment rights, if you ask me. Then again, no one seems to give a shit about the Constitution these days, anyway.

Already I think how to beat it:

Just repeat in your head the sentence:"Did I go to the moon today?" picture the impossible trip to the moon and you on the earth. Ignore all the sound coming in from the operator.

Re: MRI Lie Detector - coming to the thought-police station near you.
This is VERY easy to get around!

(Yes, I agree with you that the thought of this is scary, but then I busted out laughing at how easy it is to get around it!)hf

I figured out that all I have to do is constantly repeat within my mind:

"YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, NO".........for as long as the MRI lasted.

I'd say it very quickly so that there would be no time left between the firing of the synapses of the brain to show the real result. And just to fuck with them, I'd say...."MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE...."

And to really fuck with them, I'd sing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider Song" in my head while doing it.

I went to Youtube and tried to find the video from that old movie, Flash Gordon where the doctor was having his mind invaded. Ming couldn't get into his mind because the doctor remembered making love with his wife. However, I couldn't find the video showing this, although it would have been hilarious.

Anyways, there are ways around things concerning the mind. You just have to know how to fuck right back with them.

We do all share the same mind, by the way. There is no separation or bubble around our heads away from other people.

Now THAT'S a scary thought! But true.

Brain Fingerprinting patented by Dr. Lawrence Farwell over fifteen years ago uses EEG to detect whether a stimulus is novel or familiar to the subject. CIA and US Navy were at his door post-haste courting knowledge of the technique. Much more accurate than MRI and easier/cheaper as well.

There is a new technique in law enforcement (many), this one is called "pretend you have technology you don't really have in order to frighten people in to doing it your way." With all the supposed new technology, they cannot find a jet that flew around the Indian Ocean for hours... they cannot find WMD's, they cannot find their own balls, but we should.

Just claim you have a clip used for an aneurism and they can't make you take this, it contains metal that MRI's will displace...

Not unless they want to have your heart or brain explode.

Good technology, like a knife, can be used for good or evil. Eventually, all will be revealed, no one can stay behind a fake mask or persona.

Even now, there're product in the market that can detect pregnancy from saliva. The point is, our true condition of mind and body must be somehow represented or expressed through cells, hormonal secretion, or plenty of other physical indicators.
