I'll never dump my precious metals, just wondering what is causing the decline. Typically an inverse relationship exist with the value of the dollar and currently dollar index @ 80.18 which indicates weaker dollar and should extrapolate to higher gold.

Been monitoring , missed the boat but definitely on my list after the crash or downturn.

I've never viewed gold as an investment. Just a doomsday insurance policy. That said, I'll pick some up when the cyclical price hits somewhere around $700 again, possibly in the next 3 years.

Gold is the safe haven. Period. Some of us fully expect the paper price to crash before physical gold is revalued much higher... around the same time almost everything else is devalued like a motherfucker.

Gold and silver are commodities not currency. As such they are subject to the same market forces as any other. Some also see metals as the next bubble. It's not in free fall because of great demand. When you see metals being marketed on a mass consumer level it's because large investors know better. What's Gold Worth ? gal of oil? pound of flour? What ever people will pay. When you subtract commercial usage & collectors you are left with speculators and FOX news, Beck, Rush fans to scare the hell out of. So between the pay day loan ads,credit card debt consolidation scams, prepper doomsdays ads...you have gold. Great company.

The big boys(banks) shorted silver big time at $14...they have to get out of that short.They are working on it.Out of that short,hang on,it going to fly....
