Please don't consider my statement as hostile . . . it is not my heart. My heart is to be my brother's keeper as we all should. We are to be mirrors to one another.

With that said, I desire for all of his sheep to sit at his feet and his feet only and not be reabsorbed into the fray through the misleading teachings of men.

Your testimony on your blog bears the fruits of the traditions of the elders and not the Torah of Abba as revealed by the savior of mankind through the spectacles of His Ruah/Spirit.

In brief:

- Passover is being kept by Yahushua and his talmudim/disciples/taught ones as recorded in the witnesses of Matthew, Mark and Luke.

- The meal portrayed in John is not the Passover and is probably the previous evening - Abib 13.

- The Passover being kept by the majority, controlled by the teaching and ruling by the Pharisees is the 15th of Abib.

- No where does it say in Yah's Word that the Passover is on the 15th! It says that the Passover is on the 14th of Abib.

- Yahushua came to show us the way in all teachings of Yahuwah

- Yahushua proclaimed that he came in his Abba's name, Yahuwah. There would be one that comes in his own name . . . not bearing the name of Yahuway, literally.

- Yeshua and it's derivation is absent of the saving power of the name of Yahuwah and does fulfill the prophecy of Yahushua regarding the one that would come in his own name.

There is so much more, but is enough for now.

Today is Abib 1. The Passover will be the evening of sunday April 13th. Shalom!

Re: Pesach - Unleavened Bread - Firstfruits
I will leave you with a bit more to consider:

A group on facebook called followers of Yahuwah...a man posted this. I
thought he laid it out nicely.

Abib 15 Passover error outline

I find it Highly suspect that – Those that will uphold a 15th Passover
do so by opinion of snippets of ill-researched and mismatched scripture.
But resiliently resist actually outlining the timeline of events of
Ex.12, Num 33:3, Lev 23:5 and Deut 16: 1 in proper chronological sequence.

Ok since none of you will outline a summary of the events of Passover;
as you see it on Abib 15 – I will; to show you the impossibility of that
errant assertion.

1st off – you errantly clam that ‘between the evens’ means – noon to 3pm
and 3pm to 6pm.

This is where you get the idea that the lamb was killed on Abib 14th
afternoon – Readied for the Passover meal on Abib 15. The lamb would be
roasted and the blood applied to the door-posts to be ready for the
Midnite passing of the Death Angel (on the 15th?). They were to stay in
their houses till morning (still the 15th). Then they get the command to
leave (still the 15th). They looted the Egyptians (still the 15th). They
readied themselves by clans/armies (still the 15th) – Then left by night
as it was turning to the 16th?

This all appears to work except for; it is not by Torah; its a day too
late – and does not fit the evidence of Ex.12:6; 14, Deut 16:1, Num 33:3
and Lev.23:5 – Since none of you will outline a summary of the events of
Passover; as you see it on Abib 15 this is the best I can come up with.

Abib 14 by Torah is Passover; Ex.12:6; 14, Deut 16:1, Num 33:3 and Lev.23:5

1]Lev 23:5 “In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is YHWH’s
passover.”

A Genesis day is even to even or sunset to sunset; ‘at even’ would then
be the coming night start of the 14th day – with Midnite some hours yet
to come. (still the 14th). As per Lev 23:5

At the time of Ex.12 (from Gen.1) – ‘even’ meant – that at the point as
the residual light of one day closed, being equal to the defused light
dissipating of the coming night of the next day – at sundown. This
residual light and defused light being ‘even’ – Hence haAverim or
between the evens/evenings.

The lamb would be killed as the 13th closed and started the 14th (on the
14th). The lamb would then be roasted and the blood applied to the
door-posts to be ready for the Midnite passing of the Death Angel (on
the 14th). They were to stay in their houses till morning (still the
14th). Then they get the command to leave (still the 14th). They looted
the Egyptians (still the 14th). They readied themselves by clans/armies
(still the 14th) – Then left Egypt by night as it was turning to the
15th just as Num 33:3 & Deut 16:1 tells it.

1st – the selection of the lamb on Abib 10th (Ex.12:3) kept “until”
<H5704> the 14th (Ex.12:6)

H5704 ‛ad – Properly the same as H5703 (used as a preposition, adverb or
conjugation; especially with a preposition); asfar (or long, or much) as, …

That’s the point – ‘until’ means up to but not including the 14th; the
13th close at ‘even’ is the start of the 14th. So – they were to select
the lamb on Abib 10th, keep it ’till’ the 13th BUT “until” the 14th.

Ex 12:14 ‘So this *day* (the 14th) shall be to you a memorial; and you
shall keep it as a feast to YHWH throughout your generations. You shall
keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.

To do otherwise is to violate this Torah “everlasting ordinance”!

Now let’s reason this out [Isa.1:18]

How could the lamb be killed on Abib 14th afternoon – when the Midnite
passing of the Death Angel had to be on Midnite the 14th – that precedes
that 14th afternoon (3pm by your count) by some 15hrs.

How could the Israelites be eating in their homes on the 15th? – when
Num 33:3 & Deut 16:1 both say they left Egypt on the 15th by night? –
either they were eating or leaving – You can not have it both ways

How could the Death Angel pass-over at Midnite Abib 15th?, when – Num
33:3 & Deut 16:1 both say they already left the 15th by night (before
midnite)? ; Again You can not have it both ways

How could they have stayed in their homes ‘until morning’ Abib 15th? –
Num 33:3 & Deut 16:1 both say they already left the 15th by night?;
night precedes day – Again You can not have it both ways

How could they have looted the Egyptians on the day of the 15th?, when –
Num 33:3 & Deut 16:1 both say they already left the 15th by night? ;
night precedes day – Again You can not have it both ways

How could they have left the Egyptians on the day of the 15th as it went
to the night of the 16th?, when – Num 33:3 & Deut 16:1 both say they
already left the 15th by night? ; night precedes day – Again You can not
have it both ways

This should be enough to convince the honest about Passover by Torah
being killed and eaten on the even/night beginning of Abib 14th; on the
14th; before the Midnite passing-over of the Death Angel.

Just the way Yahshua did it on His last Passover [Lk.22:8 - 20]; by
Torah (no surprize there)

The point of the Ex.12 Passover was the event. The Midnite passing-over
of the Death Angel – Midnite of the 14th is the only date that fits
Torah Scripture and the outline accounting of events.

You have come across "MoshYah", but you did not recognize doing so . . .

The term "Messiah" in the Greek" is telling of it's self as to what is being implied. We are "told" that it means "the annointed one". In the Hebrew, we are "told" that the same word is rendered "moshiach" and it also supposedly means "annointed one." There are many annointed ones.

The ancient Hebrew shows us two roots: The first one being the same root found in the name of "Moshe." It means, to be drawn out of, come forth from or in the Egyptian, "Prince of". The second root is the shortened name of the Creator, "Yah."

Putting the roots together you get, "The one who was drawn out of or came forth from Yah." In Egyption, "The Prince of Yah."

Did not the Son of Man proclaim that he came from Abba and that he goes again to Abba?

By you capitalizing "NOTHING" you are coming off as all knowing. I pray that you might be a little more humble and teachable . . .

Question to you about the first passover and those today. The evidence is that the first passover occurred when the vernal equinox was located in the Aries constellation, which is the Ram/lamb, (which does bring us certainly a divine sign by our Heavenly Father )

We see now that in today, the equinox is located in Pisces due to the earth's wobble, and the sun at the start of this month, is also in Pisces. I can see how this would be for some the 'fishers of men' messiah age and again, divinely ordained.
But, if the first passover, and thousands after it, occurred while the sun was in Aries, the Ram/lamb, could it be that since the precession of the equinox, passover has been missed in certain years when the sun, moon and stars are not aligned correctly, pointing to Aries the ram/lamb?

Not talking astrology here.. talking astronomy and the ordaining of His creation for signs, seasons, years, days, appointed times, etc. (Paraphrasing)

The sun will not meet Aries until this month and there won't be a new moon until the end of this month. So a passover with the sun in the sign of Aries, like Josephus noted, would occur around may 14th...
A whole month from the feast you ( and most of the world notes in mid April this year)

I did see an interesting point that there is a second passover in may in israel at that time next month for those who 'miss' this one..
An interesting tidbit but is also scriptural for the unclean at the time of passover...

The calendar taught to Israel and to others that happen to pay attention to what is taught to Israel pertains to the growing and harvesting cycles of the Earth. The precession of the Equinoxes pertains to a cycle occuring outside our realm of this solar system. It has to do with a much larger cycle of the Ages of Eternity. I do have a problem with the Abib moon changing "signs" or mazoreth over time. Josephus is merely accounting for the facts of his "time". Just because the Passover, then, fell in "Aries" doesn't mean that it is an absolute!

We need to be careful not to add to or take away from the words of Abba. I have yet to see in His Word where we are instructed to observe the Abib month in the sign of "Aries." I am definately teachable, so please feel free to share what you know . . .

Shalom!

There are ancient texts that detail passover observed while the sun was in Aries ( Josephus mentioned it

I have yet to see in His Word where we are instructed to observe the Abib month in the sign of "Aries." I am definately teachable, so please feel free to share what you know . . .

It isn't a know thing, these are just questions. Just studying...
For instance, I saw one model last year that noted that the sun and Moon didn't enter Aries together until May 10th, 11th) - for some, that was the second month.. for some, the third..
But it was the first time the sun and moon and stars noted in Aries.

So some had passover a month before that in Gregorian march.. and some noted that passover was in April (24th-25th around there last year...
Almost nobody would have observed a May 25th, 26th 2013 passover even though that is the time the ' sun was in Aries..

And could the spring feast mess with the fall feasts and the sign of Libra, or the scales, because that is the seventh sign if Aries is the first?

The sun won't be in Libra normally until late October because of these precessions ( still in the fall) but not at the equinox dates in September ( so the feasts today for most are in Pisces and Virgo) - fishers of men and bride of messiah?

So to observe a Aries(ram/lamb) passover, it would be last year in may 25th, 26th and t observe a Libra ( scales) feast of tabernacles, it would have been November 20th or so.

One thing that I am trying to figure out is Pleiades and what part it plays because it seems to show up and it is could be a unifier one way or another.

Simple question, are they still to be in the ram/lamb and the scales regardless of the wobble or has He ordained a new 'age', and the fish and the virgin bride of messiah is exactly as He ordained for this time because the equinox is the paramount sign Moses received..

I am just asking, seeking and knocking and wondering if anyone else has studied it.

He made the sun, moon and stars for us... and using just one doesn't seem to be completely right or we would just use the Gregorian and be done with it... maybe using just two doesn't work either.

Thankfully His mercy and grace works!
If there are any astronomers out there maybe they can assist us..

Re: Pesach - Unleavened Bread - Firstfruits
I think that we need to first appreciate that the calendar of Yah cycles with the growing cycle of the Earth, year to year. The theme of the 3 pilgrimage feasts First Fruits of those 3 harvests. Ideally, we need to keep that in perspective as we contemplate the signs in the heavens.

Our solar system can be likened to a clockwork. Planet earth can be likened to the hour hand, our moon as the minute hand and the rotation of the earth likened to keeping the seconds. Wheels within wheels of time. The terminus, anciently speaking, has universally been the Vernal Equinox. This is like the 12 o'clock position that we relate to the starting/ending point of our own modern clocks.

The earth reaches this terminus once a year . . . like clockwork! After this, we look for the moon to pass it's terminus. And then, for our local situations, we look for the next hand to cross it's terminus: our own locally observed sunsets marking the beginnings of our new days and the cessation of the old.

Personally, I think that we need to focus on the cycles of time that he delivered to us (the Scriptural Festivals) and be faithful with the same, before we should trouble ourselves with cycles of time that pertains to His perspective and don't relate to His harvest times according to the growing cycles of His habitable earth. There is too much confusion out there already to muddy the waters with so many opinions on how to keep His calendar. A child can comprehend His True calendar . . .

That is a little of my point. Has the wobble and precession had any affect on the growing seasons?

Are there people in Israel having their feast of tabernacles with the in gathering of their crops,- and then going out a month later and continuing their harvesting and in gathering more crops ?!

I first started this walk 20 years ago with the man made tradition of Abib meaning "green ears". I later found out the there is no "green" in the original definition of "a mature head of grain." I discovered that I had been starting the new scriptural year 1 month early on most occasions and therefore not keep His moedims/appointed times. If you miss the mark you miss the mark.

I will throw this out to you and say that I have gained the understanding that Yahushua will most likely come for his bride and take her to her place of refuge in the Wilderness on the night of the Second Passover, which this year falls the middle of May . . . hmmmm.

You have brought forth some extremely valid points based on Scriptural truths. A rather long presentation for the average attention span here on GLP, yet entirely worth reading all those points.

I'm delighted, myself, of having been shown a day a couple weeks prior to without any understanding of how this was determined. Nice to see the wedding 'procession' unfolding before my very eyes, confirmed last night.

I anticipate the lamb being delicious, yet the best part being the fellowship of same like mind and spirit. That being priceless in this day an age!

Blessed be Abba, for ever!
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.

... wow! ... maybe you all need to start your own "Pesach" thread! ...
.
... I was just posting the link to what we do for Pesach ...
.
... it has taken me a while but I've come to understand the mechanism of the calendar free from rabbinic rules/teachings ...
.
... in my study I've come across what I consider teachings that would subtlety take my eyes off of Yeshua,
who He is, and what He has and continues to do ...

Re: Pesach - Unleavened Bread - Firstfruits
Jesus said, "...I am the Resurrection..." (John 11:25)

The Word also says,

"...Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the First-fruits of those who have fallen asleep." (1Cor.15:20)

Doing good from the love of Jesus Christ in us, according to the truths of His Word, is the evidence that we have His firstfruits.

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection..." [5:28,29]

It's these firstfruits the Lord is going to "lock on to" on the Day of Firstfruits and resurrect and translate all those who have them.

Now consider the following:

The Lord said,

"Whoever eats My flesh [the bread] and drinks my blood [the wine] has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the Last Day." (John 6:54)

The "Last Day" in the above verse, is the Day of first-fruits and it's observed on the 16th Day of the 1st Month on the Torah Calendar.

[link to www.torahcalendar.com]

It comes 3 days after observing the Lord's Supper on the 14th Day of the 1st Month!

For we read,

"...and when He [the Lord] had given thanks He broke it [that is, the bread] and said,

"Take eat, this is My body which is broken for you; do this [on the 14th Day of the 1st Month] in remembrance of Me."

In the same manner He also took the cup after Supper, saying,

"This cup is the new covenant in my My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, [on the 14th Day of the 1st Month] in remembrance of Me

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

I believe "till He comes" in the above verse is referring to the Lord's coming on the Day of First-fruits!

On the 16th Day of the 1st Month 33 AD,

"...the graves were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection..." [Matt.27:52,53]

I believe that the resurrection of these saints, on the Day of first-fruits 1,981 Years ago, is a foretaste, a preview, if you will, of the resurrection and translation of the saints to occur, on the Day of first-fruits at the End of the Christian Church Age.

I believe we are to observe the Lord's Supper on Monday the 14th of April 2014 [The 14th Day of the 1st Month Year 6000],
and then expect the Lord to come for us, 3 days later on Wednesday the 16th of April 2014 [the 16th Day of the 1st Month Year 6000]!

Let us continue to hope, with great anticipation, for the Lord's coming on First-fruits!
