.
... enjoy your celebration ...
.
... our family will celebrate Yeshua's Last Meal on the beginning (that's evening) of Nisan 14 for it is that afternoon that Yeshua became the actual Kinsman Redeemer sacrifice ...
.
... since you read ALL what I've posted regarding Pesach you understand ...
.
... oh ... and just a PS here ...
.
... you do know the first mention of being a "brother's keeper" was Cain ...
.
 Quoting: Wisconsin

Cain's response was in questioning the expectation of his Creator that he was indeed expected to be his brother's keeper.

As brother's and sisters in MoshYah, we are expected to be keepers of each other's souls . . . to assist one another down the narrow path. If you disagree with this very simple expression of brotherly love for one another, then we have little in common . . .

Re: Pesach - Unleavened Bread - Firstfruits
Jesus said, "...I am the Resurrection..." (John 11:25)

The Word also says,

"...Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the First-fruits of those who have fallen asleep." (1Cor.15:20)

Doing good from the love of Jesus Christ in us, according to the truths of His Word, is the evidence that we have His firstfruits.

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection..." [5:28,29]

It's these firstfruits the Lord is going to "lock on to" on the Day of Firstfruits and resurrect and translate all those who have them.

Now consider the following:

The Lord said,

"Whoever eats My flesh [the bread] and drinks my blood [the wine] has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the Last Day." (John 6:54)

The "Last Day" in the above verse, is the Day of first-fruits and it's observed on the 16th Day of the 1st Month on the Torah Calendar.

[link to www.torahcalendar.com]

It comes 3 days after observing the Lord's Supper on the 14th Day of the 1st Month!

For we read,

"...and when He [the Lord] had given thanks He broke it [that is, the bread] and said,

"Take eat, this is My body which is broken for you; do this [on the 14th Day of the 1st Month] in remembrance of Me."

In the same manner He also took the cup after Supper, saying,

"This cup is the new covenant in my My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, [on the 14th Day of the 1st Month] in remembrance of Me

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

I believe "till He comes" in the above verse is referring to the Lord's coming on the Day of First-fruits!

On the 16th Day of the 1st Month 33 AD,

"...the graves were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection..." [Matt.27:52,53]

I believe that the resurrection of these saints, on the Day of first-fruits 1,981 Years ago, is a foretaste, a preview, if you will, of the resurrection and translation of the saints to occur, on the Day of first-fruits at the End of the Christian Church Age.

I believe we are to observe the Lord's Supper on Monday the 14th of April 2014 [The 14th Day of the 1st Month Year 6000],
and then expect the Lord to come for us, 3 days later on Wednesday the 16th of April 2014 [the 16th Day of the 1st Month Year 6000]!

Let us continue to hope, with great anticipation, for the Lord's coming on First-fruits!

forgive me but it is not possible that He will return in April of 2014...

and such will in nowise be the case

there is much yet that needs to unfold prior to the Second Advent

to discount which is foolhardy at best...

We've had several GLP'ers over for Passover. One came all the way from the Detroit area one year.

The Lord’s Body was in the tomb for ONLY 36 hours.

He died at 1500 hours on Friday the 3rd of April 33 AD.

This was at 1500 hours, Day 14 Month 1 Year 33 AD

He then rose from the dead, 36 hours later, at 0300 hours before dawn on Sunday the 5th of April 33 AD.

This was at 0300 hours Day 16 Month 1 Year 33 AD.

The following is how the 36 hours is broken down:

3 hours —— 1500 hrs to Sunset [This was the 4th watch of the Day of Day 14].

12 hours —— Sunset to Sunrise of Day 15 [Evening part of the Sabbath].

12 hours ——- Sunrise to Sunset of Day 15 [Day part of the Sabbath]

9 hours ——– Sunset of Day 16 to 0300 hours, before dawn.

3 hours + 12 hours + 12 hour + 9 hours = 36 hours

3 hours —— 1500 hrs to Sunset [This was the 4th watch of the Day of Day 14].

12 hours —— Sunset to Sunrise of Day 15 [Evening part of the Sabbath].

12 hours ——- Sunrise to Sunset of Day 15 [Day part of the Sabbath]

9 hours ——– Sunset of Day 16 to 0300 hours, before dawn.

3 hours + 12 hours + 12 hour + 9 hours = 36 hours

That is what I thought you meant. So, I maintain that your understandings bear the same fruits as that of the Pharisees who the controlling authority in the days of Yahushua walking in the flesh.

Out of curiosity, from the information that was presented about the chronological order of events that were posted earlier in this thread, laying out why the 15th is not the day of Passover: Can you answer the man's question about assembling a timeline that justifies the 15th as the First Day of Unleavened (Bread)?

” For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matt.12:40)

The heart of the earth was where the souls of saints and sinners were held.

The souls of sinners were kept in hell itself, while the souls of the saints were kept in Paradise.

It was into Paradise, in the heart of the earth, the Lord descended into after His death on the cross. For He said to the thief,

“Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43)

Now this is the most important point I want to make.

"Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day?" [John 11:9]

12 + 12 + 12 = 36 hours = 3 Days or 3 Nights

The very presence of the Lord in Paradise caused all the souls of the saints there to experience 36 hours of Day light (3 Days), While, at the same time, all those in hell experienced 36 hours of darkness (3 Nights).

We see a similar thing occur at the red sea. For we read,

“And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.

So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel.

Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.” (Exd. 14:19,20)

The Lord was crucified on Day 14 Month 1 Year 33 AD. This Day was called the Preparation Day because the next Day, Day 15, was the Sabbath Day.

The 15th Day of the 1st Month will always be a Sabbath Day it doesn't change!

"Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day [Day 14], that is, the day before the Sabbath [Day 15]..." [Mark 15:42]

Day 15, a Sabbath Day, is followed by Day 16, the 1st Day of the week, which is First-fruits. This is the Day the Lord rose from the dead.

Now when the Sabbath [Day 15] was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day [Day 16] of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen...And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. [Mark 16:1,2,5,6]

Day 16 of the 1st Jewish Month doesn't change! it will always be the Day of First-fruits.

Where many run into error is when they try to synchronize the Jewish Calendar with the Gregorian Calendar!

It can't be done!

For instance, First-fruits is always on Day 16 Month 1 on the Jewish Calendar. It hasn't changed for the past 2000 Years!

Compare Day 16 of Month 1, for the last 5 Years, on the man-made Gregorian Calendar, and we discover that the Gregorian Calendar Dates are all over the place!

Sunday the 12th of April 2009 [The 16th Day of the 1st Month Year 5995]

Friday the 2nd of April 2010 [The 16th Day of the 1st Month Year 5996]

Tuesday the 22nd of March 2011 [The 16th Day of the 1st Month Year 5997]

Sunday the 8th of April 2012 [The 16th Day of the 1st Month Year 5998]

Friday the 29th of March 2013 [The 16th Day of the 1st Month Year 5999]

Sabbath Days in a Jewish Month are always on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and the 29th.

These Dates cannot be changed by man!

And this is exactly what the Gregorian Calendar does!

Re: Pesach - Unleavened Bread - Firstfruits
He ate the Passover preparation meal after sunset on Tuesday as Wednesday was starting. This meal was not the meal with lamb. It was unleavened bread and bitter herbs and wine.

He was crucified on Wednesday during the preparation for the Passover.

He was on the cross when the Passover lamb was being killed in the temple. He was the real Passover Lamb being sacrificed on the cross.

He was placed in the tomb on Wednesday evening after Joseph requested His body late in the day after He died.

The disciples ate the Passover lamb meal the night after He was crucified as Thursday was starting.

Thursday was the special Passover Sabbath when everyone remembered the Passover.

Friday the ladies went to the market and bought spices and prepared them to anoint His body. This is the key that proves He was crucified on Wednesday.

Saturday was the weekly Sabbath when everyone rested.

After Sunset on Saturday the first day of the week starts. He was raised after 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb.

The ladies went to the grave when it was still dark on the first day of the week which could be anytime after sunset on Saturday.

He had risen before they got there.

Re: Pesach - Unleavened Bread - Firstfruits
The proof is in the spices. The women did not have the spices yet before He was crucified.

The next day Thursday was the Passover special Sabbath so they could not buy or prepare the spices on that day because they were observing the Passover with everyone else.

They bought and prepared the spices on Friday. Then they had to rest for the weekly Sabbath on Saturday.

As soon as they could on the first day of the week they went to the tomb to anoint the body with the spices but He was already risen.

If He was crucified on Friday as tradition suggests then they could not have bought or prepared the spices on the Saturday Sabbath.

Amazing how things fit together perfectly that were planned from ages past.

Re: Pesach - Unleavened Bread - Firstfruits
we are told in the Gospels He was risen early on the First day of the week.

That would be our Saturday after sunset and some time before the women arrived at the tomb on the first day while it was still dark.

there were 2 Sabbaths in the week He was killed. The special Sabbath was the Passover. He was crucified during the preparation of the Passover when the lamb was being killed in the temple. The Gospels tell us that.

The Preparation day was Wednesday. Wednesday after sunset Passover started after He was placed in the tomb. It is all beautiful in it's timing.

They ate the Lamb after it was sacrificed. He ate the bitter herbs and unleavened bread and wine the night before.

It also explains why the theologs don't know what He was doing on during 2 days of Holy week. Since they say He was crucified on Friday (which cannot be so as shown above) they are missing a couple days in the week.

That is because he was crucifed on Wednesday the Preparation of the Passover day. He was in the tomb on Thursday and Friday and Saturday. So they are missing 2 days when they don't know what He was doing because He was dead. They only count Him being in tomb for one day.

The spices prove it. It could be no other way. they could not shop or work on the Passover(Thursday) or the weekly Sabbath(Saturday). The only day they could have bought and prepared the spices was Friday, which they did.

the best part is they did not need the spices to anoint His dead body because He had risen and was alive. but the account is in the Scriptures so we would know what happened that week.
