Friday the ladies went to the market and bought spices and prepared them to anoint His body. This is the key that proves He was crucified on Wednesday.

Saturday was the weekly Sabbath when everyone rested.

After Sunset on Saturday the first day of the week starts. He was raised after 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb.

The ladies went to the grave when it was still dark on the first day of the week which could be anytime after sunset on Saturday.

He had risen before they got there.
