All of these so called raids and/or "fines" that our companies pay are warnings in disguise. All it means is that "X company" did not donate enough money to political campaigns in the last election year.

And let this be a warning to other companies in the future.

There is absolutely no company in this country that isn't corrupt and is allowed to conduct business in peace without investigations, blackmail, or some sort of lawsuit from some group based on discrimination....

I think they also need to 'investigate' these companies as well since there is OBVIOUSLY danger to these employees as well, right?

Exactly, if you think private security is better than law enforcement you're wrong. My boss is ex DEA. He owns the company and at times they do some fucked up shit including lawsuits and beatings.

HANDLING lead does not affect one's health adversely. Lead concentrating in one's bloodstream is what causes health problems.

To get lead into your bloodstream, you must either eat it, or breathe in large quantities of lead dust. Lead dust comes from dried out car batteries. I have breathed my fare share of it from handling batteries at the recycling center where I work. It leaves a sweet taste in the back of my throat. I have never breathed in enough of it to make me sick, nor have I ever had an adverse reaction to handling lead. I could lick my hands afterwards if I wanted to and not be capable of ingesting enough lead residue to even register.

The minute traces of lead that may or may not be found to be present in spent ammunition cases is not capable of causing any such problem as the "authorities" are alluding to.

This is a blatant attack on brass casing supply, using the already existing attack on lead as a justification.

One lie procreating further lies.

And no, you very obviously will not find big brother attacking the companies that are supplying the ammunition for the vast array of federal agency contracts.

Until those contracts are filled, that is.

The residue on spent brass is a combination of carbon and lead. Ask any reloader. That's why you sort brass outdoors or with good ventilation, and dump your cleaning media outdoors. All the grey dust from the case cleaner is the same residue.

If their were closer to me, I'd say grab your guns boys. Let shoot us some Feds!

They push the gun nuts too far and they'll be sniper and bombing hits on FBI offices where these armed feds work out of. The best defense is THE strongest offense. Don't underestimate those gun nuts.
