The latest shooting at Ft.Hood will go down as the first step towards having your Medical/Psychiatric records combed through. You will be denied a permit to carry and or purchase firearms.

They gave us weapons and the training to use them, but when we return home we are treated as bottom of the barrel Rift Raff. The Govt would rather spend 100s of millions of dollars giving the poor healthcare but let the average combat vet fend for himself. Instead of cramming Ocare up our ass, how about stop cutting funding for the Military and VA.

I have battled PTSD for 5 years now, it is not something i wanted nor something i can just make go away. I am not taking up for this guy that did the shooting as i don't know the whole story. But if is discovered that he should not have been sold a firearm due to mental issues this will not end well for the Pro 2A guys like myself.

Completely agree. I am a 23year retired Vet. When I enlisted in the very early 80s there was such a thing as Guard Duty and SOG. There were soldiers that were assigned to areas on post such as Hospitals, PX, etc basically any high traffic area who were armed for the safety and protection of the post. They were a great deterrent. Nothing like going into a facility having to pass a Soldier armed with a M16 locked and loaded.
