When Shit Gets Real (Will You Like How It Feels?)
I wrote this about glp, in part. Am getting addicted to this site. Hope you like it, glp'ers..

This is the first phase of my little mission
Then I've got you in position
I could follow you back home
And you won't know
I'm a disaster capable of anything
I'm moving faster finding your location
I could follow you back home
And find you alone

So don't be confused if the place blows up
And a million eyes are looking on in shock
When shit gets real will you like how it feels?
I'm all around you
You're the big wheel

Well, I suppose there is a simple explanation
For the way you've been avoiding conversation
I should put you from my mind
But I can't let you go
If I could grab you and just tell you what I'm thinking
Would you be listening with all of your attention?
I should put you from my mind
No, I know I won't

So don't be confused if the place blows up
And a million eyes are looking on in shock
When shit gets real will you like how it feels?
I'm all around you
You're the big wheel

I will always be waiting around
And then one night when you're lying down
I'll be waiting outside your door
I can see you through the keyhole
As I'm on your floor

So don't be confused if the place blows up
And a million eyes are looking on in shock
When shit gets real will you like how it feels?
I'm all around you
You're the big wheel

Grow the fuck up. What's so special about you? I'll tell you what - fuck all.

You're just the same as everyone else.

I don't give a flying FUCK if you've traded everything you own for 1/4oz of gold and three heirloom magic beans to see you through 'the shit hitting the fan'.

You're just the same as everyone else, pal.

We don't fuck about in the rural Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Wow.

Things escalated on this thread fast.

How about we bring it respectfully back to the OP's title question, if not an appraisal of her work? (Which seems to be a sort of ode to GLP, so it might be nice if future posts reflected even a sliver of appreciation for effort.)

Now...

Hi OP;

Creativity is most often welcomed here. Sorry you were bullied at the get-go.

With respect to your thread question, I have enough years under my belt to recognize that the most trying times in life are very damned uncomfortable but, once you have a moment of reprieve, they are the only moments that you ultimately remember.

All of those soft times on the couch or in a cushy job?

They all blur into a blob of vague nothing.

But when we are truly challenged, humans come ALIVE.

And we recall every moment, every pivotal solution, everything that we learned.

We might outwardly say, as we count our remaining 7 toes, "That was the hairiest, most awful experience of my life on the side of that mountain.", but, in truth, we secretly thrill that we did it, we made it, we survived, albeit minus a few digits.

If we were blatantly truthful with ourselves, we would admit that we would do it all over again, because facing death reminds us that we are alive.

We feel our heart beats in our chest, our individual breaths, and even the temperature and the breeze in the air during these moments.

We are never so alive as those instants which threaten our ends.

Modern life has taken this from us, entirely.

To repress this sensation of living-death, society has decided to self-medicate.

En masse.

Sad.

Hey I'm not being a bully, but toss around phrases like 'shit gets real' and you'd better inject some reality into it.

When society breaks down do you think any woman stands a chance unless she has some big dude protecting her? And then still there will be a LOT of bigger dudes who will be hungrier and hornier. Even in the lovely Scottish Highlands.

No rules mate.

I'm doing Tabby a favor- look at societal breakdown realistically and decide how you're going to deal with those truths.

No one will come to you for answers or music, just your vagina. That's all you have to offer anyone, otherwise you're taking someone else's food.

I don't wish this on anyone, it's terrible, but true.

good luck and may the road rise

I am not in the habit of playing with my "shit" so I don't know how it feels, except that it feels better out there than in.

the RESULTS of the consequences of your actions

So it's about earthly Doom and relationship Doom.

General fear of things going disastrously wrong.

I lived in Brooklyn for 14 years.

Your friend's first mistake was hanging out in Bed-Stuy.

Yeah, that royally sucks, but he sure as hell won't forget it, unless they kicked him in the head too many times.

Not to knock your friend but, there are about a billion other places on the planet where he could live/work.

Did it ever cross his mind after, I don't know, the second time of being beaten to an inch of his life, to GTFO?
