I am old enough to know better than to say "never." Every time I state "never," the Lord goes and makes a hypocrite of me. Personal examples: "I'm never going to college!" Now working towards my 4th collegial degree. "Never getting married!" Now almost 13 years. "Never having any daughters!" 3 kids, all girls. "Never doing social work!" +5 years... In my experience, it would be a bad idea to say I would never have an affair.

From my experience in nursing homes a great number of men would come daily and sit with their wives. Made the room into a lounge room and just be beside them. Even when dementia or illness took their minds, they still would come. Like the notebook .
I lost my faith in men before that job. I was able to let someone in after that.
Not a lot of women showed up like the men did. Actually none came daily.

True confession time: I cheated on all three wives. Once I fucked my soon-to-be sister-in-law at the hotel where we were having our wedding that afternoon. My wife never found out about it until years later when her sister told her (the sister thought she was dying and wanted to confess her sin before she faced GOD… so she said.)

Another wife later on - and I had her brides maid the night of the rehearsal dinner.

Guys … do not do what I did. It was (or seemed like) fun at the time. The burden of guilt and the pain I caused, the marriages I wrecked and the misery I caused them, and others was just friggin insanity. It was years in therapy before I understood the what and why. And years later before I could forgive myself for what I had done. It all comes at a price. and a very high price, at that. The money the divorces cost, the property settlements, kids lives fucked up, and more… that was awful and it all came right back to my doorstep.

Culturally we are told that we can separate sex from love. And to some extent that is true. But we cannot separate sex from the consequences it will bring along with it, when used for the wrong reasons and with the wrong people.

Think before you jump into the hay with that hot-looking stranger. She may turn your world upside down in ways you NEVER imagined could happen. Especially when your wife walks in with a photographer and the names and addresses of the girls you’ve been screwing. Judges do not look kindly on young men who are totally unable to control their sexual appetites.

I hated my wife's guts and she cheating constantly, and I still did not. It is possible, and it is a good idea not to cheat under any circumstances. That is what I learned. At the end of the day, I was glad I didn't cheat even though she was a monster.

Back in the day, I already had a girlfriend, and, the captain of the cheerleading team had the biggest thing for me (so did another girl in another town at the same time)....

I used to get pretty messed up at parties, and, would find hands down my pants etc. sometimes, but, never ever did I act on it, it was more like sexual harassment, but, it's not like I freaked out either though... I just calmly backed out.
