Guys, what is on the ground??? SNOW

What does Snow do?? MELT

What does it melt into?? WATER

Where does the water go?? UNDERGROUND

What does Yellowstone have?? HYDROTHERMAL FEATURES

CONCLUSION:

Yellowstone has Hydrothermal features which means water underground boils because of the heat source underneath...When it reaches a certain pressure (like a kettle), it blows out steam...

Now, you see the ground covered in Snow, which is slowly melting. Extra water from the melting snow is building up on top of the normal amount of water there usually is. This means there is more water in the system...The more water in the system, the more there is to boil...The more there is to boil, the more steam it will generate....

What you are seeing on that CAM is a complete normal process that Yellowstone does...It just seems more intense because of the fact there is more water entering the ground from the snow....

Chill out, relax and enjoy the wonderful features that Yellowstone gives us....
