Elk leaving Yellowstone too? Large herd seen near Bozeman, MT | |
Sol Neman (OP) User ID: 54563708 United States 04/03/2014 10:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | okay the elk video seems unusual. I live two hours east of here and the really big heards stay down closer to the park and along the Madison river. They hang out over by the "gravelies" not up by Bozeman. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37396593 [link to www.bigskyfishing.com] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37396593 this is where they hang out.. Not Bozeman. the whole concept of the animals displacing could be real. The Gravelly is not close to Wyoming, imagine west side of Yellowstone closer to Idaho or almost on Idaho property. These Elk are pretty far away from the usual area. they are seriously North of their valley. Thread: Wyoming Earthquake in next week!!! Hello all, Quoting: IQ EQ 56402475 Wyoming will experience a significant earthquake above 7.0 which will also be shallow under 15km. It is not directly associated with Yellowstone but could trigger additional now dormant activity. Be ready and be safe. Thread: Wyoming Earthquake in next week!!! Keep Smiling User ID: 72261 New Zealand 04/03/2014 11:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sol - since you live in the area. Did you see Odaeo's post on the last page of the Yellowstone camera thread? I was willing to believe that the bison run was fairly normal but that combined with the elk and the number of tremors mentioned in Odaeo's post - no wonder these animals are moving on. Keep your eyes open and be prepared - just in case. Last Edited by Keep Smiling on 04/03/2014 11:05 PM |
Founders Fan User ID: 56190382 United States 04/03/2014 11:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | damn, that's a lot of large animals in one place Whitetail deer move in herds like that on their daily travels around here. They come in to feed in the late afternoon and all move off together as dusk approaches. Could be part of a normal routine but could also be something unusual If something can corrupt you, you're corrupted already. I am keeping an eye on it as best as I can. What will be, will be...nothing I can do about it. Quoting: Sol Neman First it was a large herd of bison on the move. Now it's elk. The video below was captured near Bozeman, MT which is about 80 miles north of Yellowstone. [link to www.krtv.com] That's totally CGI, look at the posts, there are no shadows. ... wait for it! |

Sol Neman (OP) User ID: 54563708 United States 04/03/2014 11:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Steam from geysers, at this time I still say yes, appears normal. Animals that may or may not be leaving Yellowstone, intriguing. Could be normal migration. Increased gas emissions...interesting. Earthquakes swarms...not that unusual. Something to keep an eye on? Definitely. You have misinterpreted what I was trying to point out in the other thread. At no time did I say it wasn't possible that something is amiss. I was trying to point out other logical conclusions. Also, due to the fact that many on that thread openly admitted that had not been watching for more than a few hours or possibly a day or two, they had no previous experience to base their opinions on. I attempted to explain that some of their concerns were unfounded and instead of having a civil discourse we had to get into a pissing contest. That and the bison and the reports of smoke should tell you Yellowstone really does some to be coming to life. Not to forget all the EQs of course.
