Hit and runs are regular business in Detroit - happens a few times a week. Blacks in Detroit just stroll across the street, stand in the street, they don't look or care, then they walk slower on purpose. This is what happens when a 'normal' person shows concern and does the right thing. Reminds me of the time. in Detroit in the 70's, when my dad had enough and went to retrieve yet another stolen bike of mine. Walked into an empty backyard where he thought he saw my bike, suddenly he was surrounded by 25+ black guys. It's just that fast, like zombies they come out of nowhere. This was before every black guy had a gun or he would have been dead on the spot. Needless to say he excused himself from the situation. Growing up in Detroit, being the victim of many petty crimes and now being a suburbanite we are aware of it and outraged by it but most people around here won't even know about it or care about it. Here in the suburbs, kids in school are fascinated by the few black kids in school and they are treated royally. The black boys go through white girlfriends weekly. Some black kid asked my daughter for her phone number, needless to say, she was pretty repulsed by the idea and gave him a fake number. If other kids would have known about it - they would say she's 'racist' for not going out with him

Driver clings to life after beating by attackers; boy expected to recover

“He’s a tree trimmer for a living and makes sure all the squirrels were out of a tree before he cut it down,” Utash said. “He’s an amazing dad and person. He’s very loved, and those kids should be ashamed.”

She said her father suffered multiple head injuries and still had not regained consciousness Thursday night. He doesn’t have health insurance, and the family plans to set up a fund-raiser to cover his hospital bill.

Police have said they don’t believe Utash was speeding or broke any traffic laws. Woody said that the preliminary investigation indicates the boy stepped in front of the pickup.


James Duston Jr., David’s godfather, said the boy is not out of the hospital yet. Duston said David has abrasions on his knee, swelling on his lip and is having problems with one of his feet.

Police arrested the child’s father on an unrelated warrant and are questioning him about what he knows in regard to the assault, Woody said

We only go to Detroit to see the Tigers play and see some shows. Other than that all the hipsters go down there to photograph the 'pretty graffiti' - expensive cameras hanging from their necks - totally oblivious to the dangers.

Honestly when we were growing up in Detroit, we would try and figure out how many 'brownie points' we would get when one of the natives decided to pimp out into traffic. Never acted on it but did drench a few hapless victims by driving through puddles just a little bit too close to the sidewalk. That was pretty satisfying after all the shit they put upon our family.

n*gg@rs really struggle with "the rules of traffic". Go into the hood and n*gg@rs are literally walking down the middle of the road, don't look to cross, and generally just can't figure out the flow of civilized traffic patterns, and the rules of the road.
