I served a total of about 4 years active Army and about 6 years Reserves.

Trained as a 52D and then later became a 68W

I joined during the time of the 1st Gulf War and although I did not see any combat, my unit had been activated and we trained as if we would be going.

There was the highest alert status--and the Soviets were reportedly doing the same. I think it steamed from the Red navy getting too close for comfort to our Mediterranean fleet and the supply flow to Israel. Such things wipe the smile from everyone's face.

BTW, the '73 war was not a walk in the park for Israel. The required equipment and munitions set back updating some NATO allies, such as Turkey, by as much as 10 years--it was some serious shit--paid for courtesy of the US taxpayer.

I'm in new territory emotionally, after reading The Attack on The Liberty.

This is very disturbing on many levels and the first example that's actually more like an nauseated kind of feeling is after I understood what our government allowed to happen to those sailors. They were treated like nothing more than just like cannon fodder! Then the next flash of emotion is the families and the lies the U.S. Government gave to them.

I got this book because of my personal research into the events that happened September 11th, 2001, and my research led me here where I needed to read this book as apart of my understanding.

This has been emotionally painful and this is getting more personal.

I try hard to fact check all of my personal research and a part of doing that is to study all of the apposing sides. I went to the ADL web site several times while reading this gripping book, looking at what the ADL.org says in response to the event with the USS Liberty.

It's became apparent that there's been a cover up and the Anti-Defamation web site is deceptively dishonest.

This is hard to get my arms around all of this.

I recommend this book, but be prepared, there's no turning back after reading this.

Towers of Deception: The Media Cover-up of 9/11 Paperback

My comments:

Although this publication by Barrie Zwicker has been out for a while (published in 2006), the thesis has maintained it's initial value and even more so, as proven by the fact that the the Mass Media has not done the right thing in dealing with the events around 9/11.

The proof of this has been time. It's now mid 2012 and the overwhelming documentation proves at a minimal, that there has been a cover-up and the Media is a part of this and has not done the job in informing the American public with the facts.

I have used several examples from Towers of Deception: the Media Cover-up of 9/11, in several of my classes dealing with leadership, the American political leadership in Washington and the leadership in our information reporting industry in regards to 9/11 and other cover-ups. One of my most valuable tools that I have used in my presentations as an icebreaker to my fellow classmates is on the DVD about the Kuwaiti Incubator Baby Deception and the Launch of the First Gulf War. This is only one of many examples that clearly show the the Media has used Deception to hid the truth about 9/11.

The information in Barrie Zwicker outstanding work will help you understand all of this as exampled by a brilliant passage in the book where he quotes another writer taking about the JFK assassination and 9/11 where "It is so important to understand that one of the primary means of immobilizing the American people politically today is to hold them in a state of confusion and which anything can be believed but nothing can be known, nothing of significance, that is. And the American people are more than willing to be held in this state because to know the truth-as apposed to only believe the truth-is to face an awful terror and to be no longer able to evade responsibility. It is precisely in moving from belief to knowledge that the citizen moves from irresponsibility to responsibility..."

I recommend all Americans who wants to know why there is such a strange opposition to the Mass Media's inability to at least look at the facts about 9/11 and report the FACTS, to get this book for the answers. Additionally, this book has empirical, historical documentation for the serious researcher on the events of 9/11.

Have you ever wondered why Obama said in a speech not to question the facts dealing with 9/11 (he said that these are facts to be dealt with, not opinions to be debated in regards to the events of 9/11)? Because if you read Towers of Deception, and other books dealing with 9/11 referenced in the book, the cat will be out of the bag. Thus you will aware of what responsible means and you will DEMAND accountability of our government.

If you care about your safety, get this book. The DVD alone is priceless information to be shared with your love ones

The path I have been following has lead me here as one of the connections associated with the events of 9/11. I read this publication specifically trying to understand about the relationship of the CIA, ISI, the mutaheddin, the Taliban, al Qaeda, Pakistan and Afghanistan and how these elements tied into the tragic events of 9/11 from a source not necessary intent as 9/11 as the primary subject.

This profound publication was not in response to 9/11 where as it was already published in 1972 that has been updated, to present the global drug trade with Heroin and the connection with the CIA. Even so, this publication is the proof that the 9/11 commission report was sorely lacking a full accounting, and this profound publication proves that. The 9/11 commission report noted on Page 56, "The international environment for bin Ladin's efforts was ideal. Saudi Arabia and the United States supplied billions of dollars worth of secret assistance to rebel groups in Afghanistan. But, quoting from this publication (The Politics of Heroin), "By ignoring the drug trafficking of its covert allies, the CIA violated the U.S. National Intelligence Act and later executive orders requiring it to provide intelligence to support the drug war." Shows that there are indeed elements within our government that is criminal.

This publication also shows that because of the direct relationship that the CIA had in operational control with the ISI and the fact the CIA created the Taliban & al Qaeda via the ISI, the Commission report on page 333, noted that Mahmud Ahmed (who funded the Taliban) was visited by the Pakistan intelligence chief, conveyed the United States various demands, that included turning over Bin Ladin even though the CIA had created Bin Ladin the CIA was the controlling authority in the first place. Thus, the official 9/11 commission report again failed to be independent, impartial as the law direct as such by the way the information was presented. .

"In a society that seeks to prefect the rule of law, willful illegality has lasting repercussions." Page 529

The author's intent was to show the global drug issues and the CIA's relationship, but his documented efforts have reviled that the CIA's involvement most certainly influenced the events of September 11th, 2001.

1) "The CIA's decade-long Afghan war during the 1980's had destabilized a delicate political balance within Central Asia-devastating Afghanistan, destabilizing Pakistan, and mobilizing radical Islam"
2) "In particulate, the ISI's role as the CIA's surrogate in the Afghan war had invested this military intelligence unit with vast profits from the heroin trade and installed it inside Afghanistan and the patron of radical Islamic parties."
3) "Though the Soviets had withdrawn their troops, the CIA felt it had a "moral duty to arm the Mujaheddin" for a final assault on Kabul and raised its covert aid to 350 million in 1998"
4) "Pakistan then backed the formation of a new Pashutun force, the Taliban. With arms from the ISI and fanatical recruits from Pakistan's militant madrasah Islamic schools, the Taliban launched a campaign to capture Kabul in 1995 from its base around the southern city of Kandahar."
5 "...there was every indication that the CIA was aware that its Afghan and Central American operations contributed to the export of cocaine and heroin to the United States-and did nothing to slow this drug flow"

Details: A [blank, four characters long] and ACS text search of evidence acquired from a search executed by FBI Newark's Joint Terrorist Task Force, of a vehicle located on Route 3 East Rutherford, New Jersey, a White Chevrolet Van, New Jersey, license plate JRJ13Y, registered to Urban Moving Systems, 312 Pavonia, Pavonia Avenue #1, Jersey City, New Jersey, contained telephone numbers and names directly associated with previously identified [blank] and activities.

[Note: Pavonia Avenue was an early address used by UMS. Page 59 shows that UMS wrote to their insurers Oxford Health Plans on 07/26/2000 to change their address to 3 W. 18th Street, Weehawken, and at the same time they also provided a New York address of 446 W. 50th Street.]

[Page 3 reveals that the Israelis had taken 76 photographs; also confirmed on page 80.]

[Page 7 of 141 shows that seized items #1 to #3 were maps. Early reports stated that evidence linking the Israelis to the attacks consisted of maps "with certain places highlighted". Subsequently, although it was admitted that there were "tie-ins", the "evidence linking these Israelis to 9-11" was "classified". If there was no evidence to link them, there would be no evidence to classify. Other items listed include passports, a flight coupon and itinerary, black organizers, pocket notebooks, and "fabric sample (explosive residue)".]

[Page 9 reveals that film was acquired from two cameras: a Canon EOS SLR and a Pentax P550.]

Event Narrative: [Blank] observed three dark skin men driving a white van bearing New Jersey Plates driving on Spiritbrook Road [should be Spit Brook Road] near Nashua, New Hampshire around 1 PM. The driver of the van appeared to be lost. The van had a sign for Urban Moving Systems. [Spit Brook Road is within a mile of UMS' health insurers Oxford Health Plans, located at 10 Tara Blvd, Nashua, NH.]

Page 23:

Information Received Date: 09/11/2001 Time: 8:27 PM

Event Narrative: Spotted a white cube van driving along Rt. 3 South near exit 3 Plymouth Massachuesetts [sic]. The van had double doors in the back and the company name "Urban Moving Systems" in gold lettering.

Page 28:

Synopsis: Establish basis linking five (5) Israeli Nationals (detained) [38 characters wiped here before the period. The blanked characters would have to be something like "to the terrorist attacks of 09/11/2001"; if they were discussing links between the Israelis and Mickey Mouse, there would have been no need to classify it].

Details: On instant date, Newark initiated an investigation predicated upon the detention of five (5) Israeli Nationals who may have possessed information about the terrorist incident targeting the twin towers of New York City's World Trade Center on 09/11/2001. The following sets forth the basis for linking these five (5) Israeli Nationals (detained) [followed by section blanked out for political reasons; the wiped area continues for the rest of the page and for almost all of page 29; in handwriting the date this section was classified is 7-15-2005; declassify on 7-15-2030; whereas in print at top left of page it states 07-21-2010 as the date classified and says "declassify on: 07-21-2035"].

Furthermore, on 09/11/2001, [blank] of the Pennsylvania State Police detained a yellow Penske box truck upon the request of Newark. [Blank] inspected the vehicle and determined that the vehicle's two (2) occupants, [blank] and [blank] both identified as Israeli nationals, were on their way to Columbus, OH. When Newark later questioned [blank] of Urban Moving Systems about the vehicle's presence in Pennsylvania, he could not offer an explanation. According to the moving company's [blank] the two (2) occupants and their vehicle were supposed to complete a moving job in a different part of the country. [Note: By a bizarre 'coincidence', the route from Weehawken, NJ to Columbus, OH passes within 2 or 3 miles of Shanksville and Indian Lake in PA.]

A search of UNI for any references to [blank] revealed one possible reference [blank] investigation) to [blank] born [blank] which further identified [blank] as an Israeli [blank.] [Note: That last wiped area is sixteen characters in length after taking out the period, so the word is not merely "national" or "citizen", which in any case would not need censure. "Covert operative", for example, would fit.]

Similarly, Newark also received reports from law enforcement officials in New England that a second vehicle, displaying markings for Urban Moving Systems, was noted to have stopped somewhere between New York and Boston on 09/11/2001 for the purpose of asking for directions to Boston, MA. The occupants of this second Urban Moving Systems vehicle were also identified as Israeli nationals.

On 09/14/2001, Newark Division, with the assistance of the New York Office (NYO), initiated an investigation predicated upon the detention of five (5) Israeli Nationals who may have possessed information about the terrorist incident targeting the twin towers of New York City's World Trade Center on 09/11/2001. The following sets forth a summary of the investigation-to-date. [Dated 09/15/2001]

On 09/11/2001, several complaints (FD-71s) were taken and interviews conducted by the Newark Division with respect to the event surrounding the explosions at New York City's World Trade Center (WTC), the Pentagon, and airline Flight #93 that had departed Newark. On 09/11/2001, [blank] a housewife and Union City, NJ resident, advised that at approximately 9:00am, 09/11/2001, [blank] neighbor, [blank] called her on the telephone to tell her that she [blank] saw smoke coming from the WTC. In order to see the WTC more closely, [blank] used 7x33mm power binoculars to view the scene. From the rear window of her apartment and while looking in the direction of the WTC, [blank] observed three (3) males kneeling on the roof of a white van located in the rear parking lot of her apartment complex. She noticed the individuals and it appeared as though they noticed her.

[Blank] described the males as white, mid-twenties, no facial hair, no glasses, "clean-cut," no hats, all wearing short sleeves, with lean builds. Other identifying data was also provided. [Blank] described the white van as a "box"-style van which had no windows on the side; it reminded [blank] of a telephone company style van.

According to [blank] one of the males appeared to be taking still photographs and video of the other males with the WTC in the background. All of the males appeared to be jovial in that they smiled, hugged one another, and gave "high fives." (See attached photos). As the vehicle later left that area, [blank] recorded the license plate as JRJ-13Y. Later that day when [blank] returned home, she provided the police with the information pertaining to the males.

Another complaint Subsequent investigation by Newark Criminal Division Agents revealed a second eyewitness who reported having observed the a [sic] white van in the same parking lot described by [blank]. This eyewitness, however, observed the van in the parking lot as early as 8:00am on the morning of the explosions at WTC.

A third interviewee later reported, as documented on an FD-71, having seen, on 09/11/2001 (time not noted), a big, white, model 2000 Chevrolet van, or possibly panel truck or U-Haul truck, bearing the words "Urban Movers" in black lettering along the side. The vehicle was observed in the Liberty State Park's Marine Terminal in Jersey City, NJ, located across the Hudson River from WTC.

Pursuant to this information, East Rutherford, NJ police authorities stopped an Urban Moving Systems van at a pre-positioned roadblock which was occupied by males similar to those described by witnesses above. The van had been traveling eastbound along State Route 3 in New Jersey. Following the stop, police detained five (5) individuals, all Israeli Nationals, on the grounds that they may have had information pertaining to the WTC explosions. The matter was later forwarded to FBI Newark, and the individuals were detained based violations of immigration their status [sic].

"A search of Urban Moving Systems, Weehawken, NJ, revealed more oddities which caused the search team leader to characterize the company as a possible "fraudulent operation." Little evidence of a legitimate business operation was found. Evidence recovery agents did seize, however, sixteen (16) separate computer units used by Urban Moving Systems."
