I can tell you this, first hand. Had thanksgiving dinner with GW many years ago, I think it was '99. He said that his family line goes back to the Pharos and they they were born to rule. There were many conversations that night, but that one grabbed my attention more than others. While many people don't know their family histories past a few generations , there are plenty of records kept on the ruling class, the nobility as it were. And they definitely trace direct lineage back to over a dozen kings, mostly England but others as well.
It struck a chord because I had recently read "Ancestors of American Presidents" by Jeff Boyd Roberts of the New England Genealogical society.
I'll never forget that book as it was my awakening where I realized that all the presidents and/or First Ladies come from the same extended fucking family.

I want new representation without all the negative baggage and with fresh, bold and positive mindsets and creative ideas. I'd like to see some real energy, real untainted leadership, a fresh positive start, new ways of looking at old problems, a new direction. Another JFK basically; out with the old, in with the new. A real shake-up, not this continuing maintenance of All in the Family.

Really need something to look forward too, something positive, and another Bush/Clinton in the White House isn't too positive of a thought considering the prior damage reports.

I was a regional coordinator for the most successful Libertarian presidential candidate ever Ed Clark, way back in 1980. Left the LP when they became co-opted and neutralized by Republicans.

Later became involved with Jesse Ventura's successful campaign for Governor, the biggest third party upset in the US in over 50 years.

Never voted for a Democrat or Republican in my life, and never will.

Having followed this closely for decades, one thing is perfectly clear...

We are closer to third party change than ever!!!

Bush and Clinton in 2016 would place the two party system right on the edge of the precipice, only a slight push away from plunging into the dustbin of history.

And the man to give that push is Jesse Ventura.

Could Ventura take on some of the biggest political families in American history?

He would revel in it.

Keep in mind Ventura's opponents in the Governor's race, where he was outspent over 20 to 1.

Norm Coleman, popular Republican Mayor of the overwhelmingly Democratic St. Paul, the Republican 'golden boy' of the time, later elected US Senator.

And Skip Humphrey, son of Hubert H. Humphrey, who was Lyndon Johnson's Vice President, longtime US Senator who helped spearhead the Civil Rights act, popular Mayor of Minneapolis. You may have heard of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, where the Twins and Vikings played, and the Hubert H. Humphrey International airport which serves the Twin Cities, no bigger name in Democratic circles in MN than Humphrey. Skip ended up leaving politics and slinked off into obscurity after his embarrassing defeat to Ventura.

I've met Ventura many times, and have talked to him about this, I think he's going to do it. He knows being the biggest third party victory in the US in 50 years, he has an obligation to try.

His new 'Off the Grid' show on OraTV and youtube channel is part of the springboard to the race, just like his radio show was in MN before he ran for Governor-
