BRIEF User ID: 381742 United States 04/08/2014 12:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A friend of mine who owns a dental practice, and has computers in every room, told me he will have to spend at least 15K on new computers...thanks Microsoft! Quoting: BRIEF well, considering that Microsoft and Dental Insurance are supported by the US Corporation, he should be awfully thankful. The government is supporting the software necessary to rob the general public via their insurance scams. your "friend" should be thankful that all he has to do is fork over 15k. if it weren't for microsoft and insurance, he wouldn't have a job He is realizing more than that...he now regrets accepting medicaid and medicare because many times he loses money on them...so now he fears Obama-dont-care I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

CMcC User ID: 56568983 United States 04/08/2014 01:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm still using our XP laptop. MSE was the first to fail up dating back a few months age. The the great thinkers here recommended either try Avast or just use firefox with the 'noscripts' ad on with no anti virus program. well at first I tried avast but couldn't get use to it after years of satisfaction with MSE. Then I unloaded Avast and went to using fire fox with the the 'no script' ad on. This works very well and that's what I would recommend to any one still using XP. Fear God and Dread Nought. |

I am sure now that supports gone it'll take off even more. You are sitting at a computer with the worlds largest library at your finger tips. Use it Here are a few good site I found with a quick google search [link to www.pcworld.com] [link to www.expertreviews.co.uk] Check out this link if you prefer youtube videos [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] be inventive, type in making windows xp secure or tips and tricks for XP. I learned computers from watching youtube videos. only with practice you can get better. The interweb was brought to life by geeks in garages and people sharing their information and ideals... |

Several days after they ended support for XP and here I am getting an update from Microsoft??? Did they find a big flaw that needed fixing ASAP? Same old stuff as previous updates so far. Word, Office 2010, IE8, Malicious Software Removal Tool. Believe it may have stalled on that last one (4 of 7). I was a little hesitant on doing this update, but figured what the hell. I have Linux on another partition and can recover any files I need if it starts acting up. Still stalled on KB890830.... |

I third that suggestion. Besides it being free of malware and all that other Microsassinity, people here really ought to know that they should not be on a conspiracy forum and use Microsoft. I like prophecy, conspiracies, mathematics, astronomy, anything relating to time, and I am a gnomonist (look that one up!) |
