Listen dude - people tell me this all the time - and yes - some people get things like in 2 words - while others require a lot more explanation. I am always being criticised for over-explaining - but unfortunately it is my nature - because when you raise children - the more you explain the more they get it - and now yes - i even drive my children mad - but it is habit - and if i am honest - i am being as concise as i possibly can be here.

What is a girl to do?????

Also - yeh - men - they like one word summations and stuff - it is all they need - some of us ... need more explanation than that - not just yes or no - but if yes - then out of all the options which may have led to the yes - then which one is it and why etc - I like full explanations - like in courts of law - every tiny detail is examined - to make a fuller picture - which leads to some form of result or resolve - i forgot what i was going to say now.


Something like this - you can't just throw it out there and expect people to get it - stuff like this and everyone wants to kill you if you are not careful. If i just came along and said - wow the muslims christians catholics and jews have got it all wrong because abc - i would have to go and hide underground for a very long time until it was safe to come out - maybe.

Tell me how you would like me to explain things - because really - this is my short version. There is stuff i haven't touched on yet - how should i do this - tell me.

OK, as long as you are aware of the criticism and are working on the issue, to your own benefit and others:) And, I do mean this constructively.

As to how you should explain things? Well, I would start by making an outline of the main points you want to discuss, write it down raw, then think to yourself: "How can I reduce all these sentences into one, two..." Learn to make better word choices where a word takes the place of a sentence.

Self editing is a learning process. Keep at it.

If you followed the wiki link before to the book of Tobit - it may have mentioned in there about Jonah - and how people are linking the story of Jonah to the story of Tobit and Tobias - or you may already know of Tobit and this Jonah connection.

I also wanted to make reference to the word score - of course this is how many points to one side or the other - or the gaining of a point - but also to score is to make a mark ... like a notch or scratch - there are also musical scores - which is the organisation of notes - sounds - which sound good together.
