You know that the earth has a moon. If you were told there was a moon without actually seeing it and then you believed it to be true, that is faith.

Actually going out and seeing that there is in fact a moon would validate your faith.

Also it really depends upon your interpretation of Christians. Some people claim to be Christians and simply, they are NOT! Other's are true Christians and if using the TRUE bible, they are vindicated by it's testament. The bible is A HISTORY BOOK as well as BOOK THAT TEACHES US HOW TO LIVE A LIFE OF LOVE AND PROSPERITY. If people lived as the bible instructed, there would be no war, conflict, strife etc... This is self evident in the bible.
