KC police department collecting license plate info
The KC police department has parked several police cars with the license plate cameras all over the Grandview triangle. They are using the vehicles as a show of force to make the people feel safe in the wake of the KC roadway shooter. But the government not one to let a crisis go to waste are using the police cars with the license plate readers to scan all the license plates that pass through the intersection. They have cops there almost 24 hours a day. A friend drove through at 3am and had police there, I drove through 3 times in a 5 hour period and the same cop car was sitting in the same spot the whole time..

Crazy, so if you don't want the police to track your patterns then don't drive through the Grandview triangle for now..

Re: KC police department collecting license plate info
Where I live (NJ), they like to do "traffic stops", AKA Show us Your Papers. It works like this; cops set up a place where they can pull cars off the road and there is no way around it once your in their little "area". Then they check license, insurance, registration, current inspection and any wants or warrants.

It's a big money maker for local towns so they do it fairly often. One of the local towns here; Point Pleasant Beach, pulls the cars off into a big lot by the railroad on Route 35 North. Just sayin'.

Speeding is now a felony?

The post you responded to has nothing to do with speeding.

Thanks for playing.
