Buy an old Ford Focus. A pretty good car with easy to get and parts.

stay away from a v6 accord with an automatic trans. the honda v6 will last over 300k but the trans will not hold up to that power

you will replace rear wheel bearing every year. plus either the ztec or the split port engine once it blows its gone. the split port 2.0 is over 1100 used not installed. the ztec is around 400 not installed

if your looking for a reliable SUV a jimmy/blazer/envoy (without spotrac) suburban yukon anything with a vortec engine. not good on gas but will get you 300k out of an engine. only the fuel pumps will cost ya lots

trucks is your s-10 (do not get a 4 cyl model) sonoma etc. and again anything with a 5.7 or 4.3 vortec. if your in michigan i will help you find a vehicle.

They will have some rust and some miles but overall these are good vehicles if you need This type if vehicle. The pickup version is good too.

oh if you can find any toyota with a r22 engine jump on top of it and claim it right away. ive seen a propain one in a motor home with 480,000 miles on it. not to mention its only a 4cyl

Get your self a nice crown Victoria at a police auction great cars you can cut through traffic and no one will fuck with it when your parked .

Depends, you can get porsches dirt cheap but their repairs are fucking outrageous.

Often times, avoid the 1st year model of several years. Reason being is any flaws are corrected the following models.

The last year of a model is a better bet. Not always.


There is no 1 model to look for if you want to buy something used and cheap and have it run for a while.

You need to check the engine and other wear parts. Find a friend who knows their shit with cars and have them help. Offer beer and pizza at the end.

That is a better option. Though, even those cars can be sold with problems being masked.

That's the problem with used cars. No one model is exempt from shady sales.

I bought a 2000 Buick Century Custom. Had it now for 14 years and nothing wrong with it. You see alot of early 2000 Buicks still on the road.
