She'll follow if she loves you. I couldn't stand living in the city so here I am back in Lapland and I will never ever leave again. It's a dream.. I have no home to go to. I was raised by my grandparents and they are both gone now. The family house was sold in 2003 and has since been torn down. |

Call some old friends & ask if they'll have the time to meet up on this date. Get a hotel room for a few nights & get a feel for the place again. I remember I wanted to go back to my old college & when I finally did...I found it wasn't mine any more. Maybe you'll end up happier where you are now if you see how things have changed back home. |

I was raised by my grandparents and they are both gone now. The family house was sold in 2003 and has since been torn down. I can relate. My childhood home (lived there first 18 years of my life) was completely renovated by the current owners. When I drive by I don't even feel any nostalgia because it looks unrecognizable. My folks are deceased, siblings moved to another state. I'd like to move away from where I currently reside because I've lived in this area for 3 decades and I'm tired of it. I really want to live near the Rockies, enjoy the mountain scenery and experience more rural, laid-back living. |

Haven't been back since my Grandmother died in 2003. I keep saying I need to go back and visit... but, the only place I would be going is the cemetery. It's a dream.. I can't believe what I'm seeing..totally unrecognizable... I too long to get away from my current place of residence. but, I learned a long time ago.. you can run, but you can't hide from yourself...wherever you go, there you are... |
