I ACCUSE -- 2014!

To be fair and balanced, I am submitting the below new op-ed I received, author revealed. This text need be web distributed far and wide before the small minded shame of religious prejudice repeats itself in violence due to a worldwide historical penchant for apathy against the persecution of Jews.

Though I am neither of the Jewish religion nor a Zionist, I accuse self-publishing conspiracy theorists of the Kristallnacht blaming of Zionists and labeled Khazars [alleged 8th Century converts to Judaism] for all of the economic ills of today’s World, ostensibly simply saying via their code words … “It's the Jews!” Such of late largely emanates from the 1997 Soviet text, “International Zionism: History and Politics,” that alleges that Wall Street and its financial institutions are Jewish conspiratorial oligopolies controlling the World. It is true that, demographically, no societal group, tribe or religious base has proportionately achieved the same success and influence in humanities, education, science, government, and economics as those of the Jewish faith. But to blame the Jews of being the orchestrators and ongoing maintainers of the often called Cabal, Powers That Be, Illuminati, Warmongers, and/or apartheid planners of population reduction is akin to blaming the worldwide lack of the egalitarian distribution of the World's wealth on Certified Public Accountants or garment manufacturers. The blaming is absolute scapegoating wherein it is most convenient to utilize all the encompassing tags of Zionists and Khazars simply because a preponderance of the achievers -- and particularly in the economic and financial arenas -- happen to be of Jewish religious descent.

Furthermore, the often mentioned allegation that there is a "Jewish Mafia" is a myopic, ignorant blood-lust accusation, a myth, to incriminate a minority group so tagged because of their small in number size, once -- though they no longer passive to attack -- and presumed organized religious and financial arena memberships and occupations, by birth and practice, respectively. Wherein the Jews' -- who make up just 0.2% of the World's population -- societal accomplishments are proportionately unmatched worldwide. So, when it suits them, even the Jews' detractors will support a Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin [any of the detractors' children get Poliomyelitis over the last 60 years?], Paul Ehrlich, Louis Brandeis, Haym Salomon who financed the U.S. Revolutionary War, Zora Arkus-Duntov, father of the America's automotive icon, the Chevrolet Corvette, Albert Einstein, Robert Oppenheimer, Niels Bohr, Carl Sagan, artist Marc Chagall, composer Leonard Bernstein, Sergey Brin & Larry Page, Spinoza, Freud, the founders of most all of Hollywood's motion picture studios, among countless thousands of others. Jews currently constitute over 40% of the membership of the economic sciences division of the US National Academy of Sciences and have won 39% of all Nobel Prizes in economics, and 22% of all Nobel Prizes. But when they are categorized as a "Mafia," the definition of which is "being an organized international body of criminals," wherein the detractors try to separately distinguish that such Mafia is but only a sub-set of THEM, such is still a convenient conclusion of a search for an organizational commonality amongst the accused and deemed guilty scapegoat. Here, as if all Jews, also known as Zionists who support a singular, independent homeland for all Jews known as Israel, also seemingly control the United States Government's executive, legislative & judicial branches. Patently absurd!

This text is directed to all conspiracy theorists who continually make such accusations, and particularly to Benjamin Fulford, Neil Keenan, and Thomas Heneghan basis their own published web site authored words and videos, as such relegates their accusations to the level of Charles Coughlin, Paul Joseph Goebbels, and the white-robed KKK.

. . . The current wave of conspiracism has two main historic sources, irrational fears of a freemason conspiracy and irrational fears of a Jewish conspiracy. . . .

. . . In highlighting conspiracist allegation as a form of scapegoating, it is important to remember the following:
All conspiracist theories start with a grain of truth, which is then transmogrified with hyperbole and filtered through pre-existing myth and prejudice.
People who believe conspiracist allegations sometimes act on those irrational beliefs, which has concrete consequences in the real world.

Conspiracist thinking and scapegoating are symptoms, not causes, of underlying societal frictions, and as such are perilous to ignore.

Scapegoating and conspiracist allegations are tools that can be used by cynical leaders to mobilize a mass following.
Supremacist and fascist organizers use conspiracist theories as a relatively less-threatening entry point in making contact with potential recruits.

Even when conspiracist theories do not center on Jews, people of color, or other scapegoated groups, they create an environment where racism, anti-Semitism, and other forms of prejudice and oppression can flourish."
