They should be taught to not believe in anything (blindly accept), but to use their mind to ponder, question and to find the truth in everything. Of course it is also up to the parents to impart important truth and wisdom on their children. Only with the truth can they grow up into responsible and decent adults, who are not delusional in one way or another. Then they also don't let themselves be exploited and deceived, one way or another, because they know better.

That depends on what OP was trying to say. Both ways can be correct. If you leave the spelling the way it is, it can mean -

Or, if you want your way of spelling then it would mean -

Don't let your children be part of any religion, because they're (they are) cults and sects.

LoL. Many don't get it yet that they are being duped. Their religious allegiance, same with language, is simply based on the region they were born and grew up in. Which means they have as much reason to be a muslim as they have of being a christian and/or vice versa.

Exactly. Very well said. Myself and many people I know have never set foot in a church(and likely never will), doesn't make us immoral or impulsive or any of that bullshit. The people I associate with closely are genuinely good, caring, compassionate people with strong morals, as well as a solid understanding of the concept of respect and free-thinking. NO church, dogma, brainwashing or religion required. Period.

I know plenty of "religious" people that are the most fucked up, lying, delusional and dangerous people around. Not all religious people, of course, but being "religious" and going to a church doesn't grant you any free passes.

Do soldiers that kill and get killed in wars go to heaven? How about those who pay taxes that finance wars? Aren't they as complicit and guilty in murders as those that pull the trigger (and that is a sea of christians on this planet)? I doubt even jesus will save them with this complicity and mindset. However, many are too self absorbed in their holiness and righteousness, they do not do this inward search.
