he was doing things he wasn't supposed to be doing, so that resulted in his demise. imho. at least he knew how to make that guitar sing and "talk," too bad he got caught in those traps.....his choice though.

Now it seems so-called "musicians" who are anything but do far more disgusting things and get away with it. why? bc they are female? that's fucked up. equal treatment for crossing the line...it's disgusting what no talent hacks get away with today.

He was planning to fire his manager at the time.

He was not a junkie, at all.

Hendrix was a CIA/MK-Ultra operative, later reassigned by the MI6. His mind-control guitar-effects paraphernalia was created by a Royal Navy engineer named Roger Mayer.

Obviously he was a liability because he knew a lot of what was going on, Laurel Canyon, cointelpro "counter-culture", government-sponsored drugs, mind control and whatnot. Everything wrapped in colorful papers and psychedelic ribbons of the "hippie movement".

So they whacked him, not by coincidence when he started talking about leaving the electric guitar and experimenting with classical music.

I can even hear the patronizing conversation before the henchmen took him down:

"Son, the US government has invested a large amount of money and resources on you. You can't just quit on us."

Wow....never hear that story. I grew up listening to him believing it was a drug overdose too.....so sad.....
