To put that in perspective, the distance from the earth to the moon is 238,855 miles. You could make 2.5 round trips from the earth to the moon. Another way of looking at it is the number of miles you drive per year. The average American drives 15,000 miles a year. That is enough gas at 30 mpg for the next 71 years. As people don't start driving until nearly 16, this is more gas than your typical American will consume in a lifetime. Hope he personally plants 2250 trees to offset his 1 day emission............. Ready for increased gas taxes yet? |

The U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates that burning the fuel emits 21.1 pounds of CO2 per gallon Total presidential fuel consumption for Earth Day, not including automobile motorcades, is an estimated 35,609 gallons Read more: [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] . Air Force One consumes 5 gallons of jet fuel for every mile it flies No, it consumes 6.6 gallons per mi, or 800 ft per gallon. You forgot the C/5 Galaxy that caries the Presidential motor vehicle fleet, the press and staff plane and Air force 2 that always goes along incase of brake down. Try about 200,000 gallons of high grade Kerosene one way! |

I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |
